Unmanagedservers.net offers, well, unmanaged servers. What does that mean? Well,
our hosting services cater to web developers, techies, and businesses that have
sysadmins on staff. How do we accomplish that? Well, unlike many hosting
companies whose biggest cost is customer service, we only offer infrastructure
support, not end user tech support. Whether your company has one employee or a
hundred, we expect you to have someone on staff who can troubleshoot software or
website issues. All we do is provide infrastructure you can rely on, and you do
the rest.

We might not hold your hand, but we’ve got your back. What does that mean? Well,
we offer 24/7/365 support for our infrastructure. If we have an issue with a
server, network, etc. we will fix it. If you have any problems using our control
panel, we will fix it. But we don’t provide end user help at the same level as
more expensive hosting companies as we expect you, our business customer, to
handle that service from your end.

We further cut costs by automating as much as possible. For all of our
solutions, common tasks can be performed on our client portal.

Unmanagedservers.net owns and operates our own datacenter. That means we are not
a reseller. Again, cost savings and the economies of scale come into play here,
so our cost per server is far lower than many of our competitors.

One of the biggest costs in providing servers these days is IPv4 addresses. As
such, our cloud servers and dedicated servers are IPv6 only. For our colocation
customers, if you want IPv4, we operate on the BYOIP model – bring your own IPs.

We pass all those savings on to you. It’s our opinion our cloud servers,
dedicated servers, and colocation services, are the best deal in the SF Bay
Area. But we’ll be honest – if you are a non-technical end user and don’t have
someone on staff or in mind to manage your hosting or servers, you probably
don’t want to sign up for our services.
