between 4-6 months. While we're here to be your co-pilots, don't forget to have
a heart-to-heart with your pediatrician to make sure it's the right time for you
and your babe to get started.
How do you know it's time to start solids? Look for a few signs:
* Sitting Solo: Your baby's mastering the art of sitting, even if it's with a
hint of wobble. That's your cue for solid exploration.
* Head Master: Strong head control is their superpower – a must-have for safe
and comfortable eating.
* Bye Bye Reflex: If the tongue thrust reflex is quietly bowing out, it's time.
This reflex fades, making room for those exciting solid bites.
* Curious Eyes: Suddenly, your little one's eyes are glued to what's on your
plate or the foodie scene around. That's curiosity knocking!

How do I know when my baby is ready for Biteables?
Knowing when your baby is ready for table foods is an exciting milestone.
Generally, most babies are ready to explore beyond purees and venture into the
world of table foods around 8 to 9 months of age. Look out for signs of
readiness like improved head control, sitting with support, showing interest in
what you're eating, and even trying to grab food from your plate.
Biteables are small, soft, and easy-to-hold pieces that are safe for their
developing chewing skills. As always, pay attention to your baby's cues and
consult your pediatrician for personalized guidance. Every baby is unique, and
we're here to support you on this fun and exciting journey!
What ages are Plates for?
Our Plates are designed with a range of kiddos in mind – from those as young as
1 to kiddos as old as 8. We know that appetites vary, and so do preferences!
That's why our versatile plates are perfect for a diverse age group.
Whether you have a mini exploring new flavors or a slightly older adventurer
with a hearty appetite, our plates have got you covered. And guess what? You've
got the freedom to save any leftovers, just as you would with a homemade meal.
Do you offer meals that don't require heating?
Absolutely! We're thrilled to introduce Lunchers – they're the ultimate in
convenience and customization. These are fresh, build-it-yourself meals designed
to be enjoyed without any heating. Yes, you heard it right! Our Lunchers are
ready for your kiddo to enjoy straight from the fridge or lunchbox.
Crafted with love and attention, these customizable meals are perfect for busy
days, on-the-go adventures, or whenever you and your little one are craving a
delicious, no-fuss option. Dive into our Lunchers collection and experience a
whole new level of mealtime ease!
How do I store my kiddo's meals + snacks?
Babyblends, Smoothies, Biteables and Plates can all be stored in the fridge for
up to 14 days, or in your freezer for up to 3 months. We don't recommend
freezing our Lunchers but those stay fresh in the fridge for 2 weeks as well. We
use our own special and innovative packaging on all of our products to keep
everything fresh, clean + junk-free. Once opened your meals can be saved as long
as they are placed back in the fridge. Just be sure to serve it again within 48
hours!
Our Snacks are pantry-friendly and can be stored in your cupboard, pantry, or
any cool dry place. They do not require refrigeration so they're perfect for
when you're on the go and hunger strikes. We recommend keeping your snacks
sealed until you're ready to eat, and using a chip clip for your veggie loops to
keep moisture out so they say nice and crunchy.
How do I heat my kiddo's meals?
Heating our Plates and Biteables is a breeze, and you've got options to suit
your preferences. Whether you're all about the microwave, stovetop, oven, or the
fan favorite air fryer, we've got you covered.
Each meal comes with clear and easy-to-follow heating instructions right on the
packaging. We're all about keeping things simple and delicious! And if you ever
find yourself wondering which heating method would make your meal shine, our
fantastic Care Team is just a message away. They're always happy to share their
favorite recommendations for each particular dish.
If you're warming your Babyblends, just place in a warm bowl of water or
transfer to a heat-safe bowl and heat using the method of your choice. Just be
sure to stir so there are no hot spots and test the temperature yourself before
offering to your baby.
Can I choose the meals and quantity myself?
We love giving you the power to curate the perfect meals for your little ones.
Here's how it works: After checkout you'll select the products you want or go
with our pre-selected menu (it's totally up to you!) and we'll getting ready to
send those tasty Little Spoon meals + snacks your way.
Before every order we'll send you a friendly reminder via email. That's your cue
to log in to your account and dive into your menu. You can explore + choose the
exact meals + snacks to put in your upcoming order or fill your box for all
upcoming orders if you want the same menu every time. And don't worry, if you're
ever in a hurry or just feeling spontaneous, we've got you covered. Our team of
meal experts will make sure your box is filled with a variety of our most loved
options.
Whether you're in the mood for those fan-favorite classics or ready to introduce
something new, the choice is yours. It's all part of our commitment to making
mealtime exciting, delicious, and tailored just for your family. With Little

Where do you deliver?
Little Spoon's delivery spans the continental US, reaching doorsteps far and
wide. Although we'd love to extend our reach to Alaska and Hawaii, for now, our
delivery is restricted to the mainland. When it comes to crossing borders, we're
keeping our eyes on the horizon – Canada might just be in our future playbook
😉.
Quick note: we're unable to deliver to PO Boxes so reach out to our amazing Care
Team if you need help with your address.
How soon will my delivery ship after I sign-up?
Exciting times ahead! Your Little Spoon delivery is all set to make its way to
you, and here's how it works:
If you've locked in your order by Saturday, 5 PM ET, get ready to welcome your
mini's meals the very next week. As for your upcoming orders, we've got a those
covered too. You can expect your future orders to arrive to your door every two
weeks, like clockwork.
But hey, we know life's all about change – and we're here to accommodate that.
Feel free to tweak your delivery schedule, menu, or address from your Little
Spoon account. Just remember, any changes you want to make should be wrapped up
by 5 PM ET on the Saturday before your delivery week.
How are my orders packed?
At Little Spoon, we've got your orders covered, literally. We take packing
seriously to make sure your goodies arrive as fresh as can be.
So here's the scoop: every Little Spoon order is packed with lots of love and
care. We're talking insulation and coolant to keep things chilly and fresh
during their journey to you. We've got the science of freshness down pat.
But it's not just about great taste – we're all about the environment too. Our
packaging is 100% curbside recyclable, because we believe in doing right by our
planet. Plus, we're all about creativity, using upcycled insulation and reusable
gel packs to minimize waste.
