HOUSTON, TEXAS 77042 BUTTON ESPAÑOL 713.780.2727 EXT. 506 DONATE IMPACT MAKER BREAKFAST: WITH RYANE JACKSON, CAROL PARET, AND MARK BROWN (AS MODERATOR) Too many of our neighbors do not have equal access to what is needed to live healthy lives. Someone earning a low income may not eat as well, have any or the same access to healthcare, or to a safe home, as their wealthier neighbor, which in turn affects his/her health outcomes, and more. Why is this a problem, and what can we do to address its root causes? In this special breakfast event benefiting WHAM's programs to feed and house low-income families, we explore all those questions and more. Mark Brown, WHAM CEO, will join Ryane Jackson (Houston Methodist) and Carol Paret (Memorial Hermann) in a conversation to explore the intricacies of social determinants of health and what we can do to help. We will also present the Impact Maker Award to Dr. Peter Hotez and Dr. Maria Elena Bottazzi for their vital work in vaccine development. Join us!
