CONFIRMED

The Blues could be set for another dressing room cleansing with the arrival of
new manager Enzo Maresca - and The Special One could give them a helping hand

Chelsea have just made their first signing of the summer transfer window in what
is sure to be the start of a busy period for the Blues' new manager Enzo
Maresca.

With the free arrival of Tosin Abarabioyo on Friday morning, it marks a big
swoop from Maresca just a few days into his role as Chelsea boss. While the deal
had been lined up plenty of weeks beforehand, it's still the first name of the
new era at Stamford Bridge in what has been something of a revolving door in
recent years.

The Blues have made some of the most high-profile moves in world football over
the last year, including two £105m-plus moves for midfielders Enzo Fernandez and
Moises Caicedo, while Mykhailo Mudryk's £62m move, a £75m swoop for defender
Wesley Fofana and a £52m deal for Christopher Nkunku over the last few seasons
have meant a huge spending spree and that's certainly set to continue this
summer.

With the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability Rules in place and
the concerns around the club facing those, it's inevitable that the club will
need to sell some of their stars to balance their books. To do so, one of the
club's former head coaches could help them out.

Jose Mourinho was announced as the new Fenerbahce head coach earlier this week
in a dramatic unveiling that saw crowds upon crowds welcome him with open arms.
His new side have already been linked with a few of Chelsea's stars so with all
that being said, here are the seven players that could leave Stamford Bridge
this summer in favour of a move to Turkey with 'The Special One'...

    


 1. RAHEEM STERLING
    
    The England international was linked with a move to Fenerbahce earlier this
    week, but those rumours were almost immediately snuffed out by the star's
    team. However, after two relatively disappointing seasons at Chelsea under
    his belt, the Blues could look to get some good money for the star if there
    is any interest there.

 2. TREVOH CHALOBAH
    
    Two years ago, Trevoh Chalobah looked like a piece of the Chelsea puzzle
    destined to help usher the club into a new, bright and brilliant future.
    Now, the 24-year-old could leave Stamford Bridge in the summer after rumours
    surrounding an exit over the last two windows.

 3. ROMELU LUKAKU
    
    How is this saga still going? Whether it means loaning him out early in the
    window or finding him a new club as soon as they can, Chelsea need to rid
    themselves of the Belgian international as soon as possible and sending him
    for a fourth reunion with Mourinho in Fenerbahce could be a solid move.

 4. ARMANDO BROJA
    
    Long-term injuries have meant inconsistent first-team minutes for Broja, who
    was loaned out to rivals Fulham in January and then struggled to fit in at
    Craven Cottage. If the Blues are looking for a new striker option in the
    summer, it'll all but condemn him to a move away from Stamford Bridge which
    could mean an easy swoop for Fenerbahce and Mourinho.

 1. KEPA ARRIZABALAGA
    
    With the arrivals of Robert Sanchez, Djorde Petrovic and Gaga Slonina last
    summer, Kepa's failed loan move to Real Madrid won't help his case to get
    back into a Chelsea side he already doesn't want to go back to. One of the
    easiest sales the Blues could make this summer if they're willing to lose
    out on a bit of money.

 2. MALANG SARR
    
    Chelsea's forgotten centre-back, Malang Sarr, might go down as one of the
    Premier League's worst-ever signings. Having arrived at the Blues on a
    five-year deal in August 2020, he's consistently failed to find first-team
    minutes and will hopefully be put out of his misery this summer with a move
    away from Stamford Bridge.

 3. NONI MADUEKE
    
    Despite his impressive end to the season under Mauricio Pochettino, Madueke
    could find himself on the chopping block this summer. While Mourinho has
    often preferred his established stars over youngsters, he would no doubt be
    an excellent manager for a player like the England Under-21s star.
