Who am I? My projects Cool stuff I've built



HI, I'M MANUEL

computer engineer software engineer web developer football kind of guy gamer on
spare time!

I am a versatile computer engineer, highly interested in building and delivering
complex software to meaningful projects.

Recently I have spent time working in back-end using Python, PostgreSQL and
ElasticSearch, and deploying to OpenShift.

I am actively working on my front-end skills with React and TailwindCSS - the
latter which I used to build this website!

My academic background is focused on computer networks and architecture, along
with machine learning and data processing.

On my spare time I love to watch and practice sports, especially football, and I
am a fan of video games since I can remember.




MY PREVIOUS PROJECTS

I have recently worked at CERN, on Zenodo, the world's largest open research
data repository.

It was a fascinating experience contributing to projects that help thousands of
researchers worldwide to access scientific knowledge.
I learned a lot about the importance of open science and the challenges of
building quality and performant software.
