Skip to main content * Home * Snow Park * Events * News & Events * Home * Snow Park * Events * News & Events MAPLE RIDGE CENTER A Place for You OUR MISSION is to complement local ministries, build relationships, and strengthen families by offering programs, facilities, and staff dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth through Christ-centered service. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OUR HISTORY -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EST. 2007 During the summer of 2002 the Beaver Camp board of directors became aware of an opportunity surrounding the former Seeber horse farm in the town of Lowville. The property had been sitting idle for several years when it was purchased from the mortgage holder by the Pratt Northam Foundation, a local philanthropic organization. Pratt Northam's vision was to preserve as much of the property as possible for uses and programs which would benefit the community. While numerous organizations and individuals had expressed an interest in owning the property, none appealed to the Pratt Northam board as being willing and/or capable of fulfilling the purposes they had established that is, until AMCA. In 2007 AMCA took official ownership the part of the property that includes the buildings and part of the back hill. However, an equally large portion of the property is now owned by the county and hosts the Lewis County Jefferson Community College Education Center. We are registered as a nonprofit charitable 501(c)(3) organization. Donations to Maple Ridge Center, Inc. are tax deductible. Maple Ridge Center also hosts the Office of the Aging Meal Program, Emmaus Church Services and a variety of private functions including wedding and business luncheons. Contact us AN IDEAL PLACE FOR YOUR NEXT MEETING Maple Ridge Center features a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for your next meeting. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE MANOR HOUSE The Manor House (by the road) seats up to 75 people. This former farmhouse has been renovated to include plenty of meeting spaces, restrooms, and a commercial kitchen. THE WARMING BARN The Warming Barn seats up to 200 people. Often used for graduation parties, reunions and youth events, this space is also perfect for laid-back receptions. In warmer weather large doors can open on all sides and transform the building into a pavilion-like space. The addition of bathrooms, a commercial kitchen and heat have made this an ideal year-round meeting venue.
