Hidden Gem
Hidden gem just off the strip with comfortable beds, easy check in and quiet
pace after the action on the strip. 5 minute walk to the sphere and Venetian and
central to lots more. Full kitchen so you can stock up on supplies instead of
paying the high prices on the strip or at a hotel.

Hotel's Favorite

Great Location
We chose this resort due to it's proximity to the National Parks in California
(Death Valley and Joshua Tree) and Utah (Zion, Bryce Canyon and Capital Reef).
The drive through Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument was spectacular.
Valley of Fire is only an hour away and absolutely worth the drive. Vegas is
under no circumstances, a family friendly place. The monorail was a short walk
from the resort and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay at this resort. They
offered rides from room to front of resort which was very nice. Shower in master
bedroom was the best shower ever! Beds were comfortable and room nicely
supplied. We did not utilize any of the facilities like pool, etc. I would stay
here again.

The Perfect Spot Off the Strip and Close to the Sphere
If you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the Strip, but not be too
far away from the action: this it the place for you. Being a unit in the Holiday
Inn Desert Club was remarkably refreshing, relaxing, and fun. We loved the pool
area and relaxing in the sun. My wife and I stayed here for the U2 concert at
the Sphere so this was the perfect location. We walked to the concert in less
than five minutes. Getting to and from the Strip was a little more challenging,
but that was mainly due to the streets being blocked doff for the upcoming F1
race in Vegas. We loved having a kitchen and a patio to enjoy our own meals
instead of the high prices of restaurants on the strip. As with everything,
nothing was perfect, but this was the perfect place to stay for our needs and
our time in Vegas. …

Vacation ruined
My vacation was ruined!!!No help from front des! Persons answered the phone was
mean!!! No consideration! TV no signa! Dishwasher doesn’t drain! Uncomfortable
bed! Hurt my back, i had to get salonpas patch! Lodicaine patch for backaches

Love HICV Desert Club Resort
Love how close this property is to the Strip. We had a great view of the High
Roller and the new Sphere as well. It is very easy to walk to the Strip. Our
two-bedroom unit was beautiful. We love 1pm Bingo and have won several games. We
used our vouchers to get items from the Marketplace. I recommend this timeshare
property.

Very Nice Resort
The resort was very nice and we enjoyed the amenities. This is the first resort
I have ever been to with a market place store. The restaurant onsite served a
great breakfast. Two people can eat off of one order. The pancakes melt in your
mouth. The resort is within walking distance of the strip. The staff is very
nice as well. The only thing I wish they had was an airport shuttle. I would
most definitely stay at this rfesort again.

F1 race time not the time to visit Vegas - UGH
Location totally hampered by F1 race preparation shutting down streets and
crosswalks. Walking and riding times too long and inconvenient when trying to
get to the strip. This will be an annual event... our third trip to Vegas great
anytime of year except anytime near this race!

Nice place and location
Very nice place and near attractions. Did not like check-in. You couldn't hardly
hear person working, was not welcoming, charged us more money when we got there,
but didn't tell us why, didn't tell us how to hook to internet, and didn't tell
us anything about amenities at condo.

We selected Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Desert Club for this Las Vegas trip
because of the close proximity to The Sphere. We arrived with no expectations
for the property or room but left very impressed! We were in building 19 which
is toward the back of the resort which was perfect for access to The Sphere
because there is a back gate. Our suite was a one bedroom/one bath with a full
kitchen. The suite was in great shape and updated with a modern look. The king
size bed was comfortable. There was a full-size washer & dryer in the utility
closet off the patio. We were in town for the U2 concert, and this location was
absolutely perfect! We were a short walk to The Sphere via the resort's back
gate. While the resort is off the strip it is an easy walk to places on the
Strip such as The Venetian, Flamingo etc... Also, a short walk away is Ellis
Island with decent restaurants (we enjoyed the BBQ place) and a small casino.
All staff we encountered at the resort were friendly and helpful. They have golf
carts that the staff use to bring guests around the resort is the walk from your
room to the main lobby is too much. I would stay here again and highly recommend
this resort to anyone attending an event at The Sphere - the location cannot be
beat!…

Poorest experience and dishonest practices
That’s probably the poorest experience I’ve ever had as a business traveler. It
is a 3 star hotel and I wasn’t expecting a 4 star service. But everything from
check in to checkout was a disaster. Starting with the check in, I got in a bit
before 3pm, and I was told that my room wasn’t available because they had till
4.30pm to clean the room. I dairies for nearly an hour then they finally gave me
another room. Arriving in the room, no toiletry, soap whatsoever. Then the
breakfast.. on the second morning I needed a quick breakfast option so I went
for the oatmeal… which was instant oatmeal and honestly quite disgusting. It’s a
shame to to serve such a thing in a hotel. Then the checkout was the cherry on
the cake. My travel agent made a mistake in the booking and actually booked 3
nights instead of 4. So when I came back from my day of meetings, I was locked
out of my room with my luggage still in there. I explained the situation, they
told me that the room wasn’t available anymore and as a courtesy they would only
charge for half of the room rate even though they would r give the room back to
me (the full rate was close to 350 USD, mind you..). I can’t describe this as
anything else than robbery. Shame…
