Today we live in a world full of brands. They're everywhere we look. You can be

Contrary to popular belief, you too are a brand. Let's explore the 'Brand You'
and explore how branding in marketing will let you in life and in business and

'Brand You' is what you are personally known for. What customers, friends and
family say about you when you are not around - the positive as well the
negative. Your brand is established everyday through your actions.

A brand is completely dissimilar to the organisation or company you represent. A
person will come into contact to you during your company. However, they could
prefer coming back for you because of what you as a person provides - being
loyal for you.

So with all the current different brands on the market amongst the competition,
how do you promote your brand? Why is you standout! How does one brand yourself

to be!

You need to think about what are your core values and beliefs. What you feel you
are a symbol of. If you find this hard to define then it maybe worth listening
to how others define you - just how do others see you.

When defining the brand, you really need to think about you. You must understand
yourself to become able to promote yourself. Forget where you work, your title
or position. What is unique about you! What perhaps you have accomplished to
have the ability to tell others! What do you want to be remembered by!

Understand your brand today and determine if you can find gaps. Understand also
where you intend to be.

Create the 'Brand You' statement.

That is a promise you possibly can make to yourself among others from the
prompts above.

Write a sentence of your core values and beliefs that produce you stand out from
your own competition.

For instance: 'My success and my fulfilment comes by serving others. The real
joys in assisting others help get what they want'.

Whatever the statement, it needs to be authentic and true to you. Your brand
will mature overtime. Create a start. keep it simple, relevant and believable.
The brand will make you different.

Build your brand.

So how do you build your brand? Well it starts with reputation so what's yours?
Have you any idea how people perceive you, what they say about you, or do you
think you know? Does it reflect your personal brand statement? Are you currently
reliable, credible, honest, loyal and knowledgeable? You'll build your
reputation by becoming known. Again, this is in addition to your projects. Do
you ever connect to people who know your brand? People will be watching you and
deciding whether they like what they see. Thoughts is broken alert to your brand
then you can increase visibility.

Take positive action to obtain known! Write articles, released press releases,
produce videos, join groups and write a blog. There are endless opportunities.
Create a network of followers and this can be achieved through the social media
marketing like Facebook, Twitter, etc. In turn you'll get a network of
supporters who will tell others - word and mouth advertising. Your brand could
grow beyond your reach.

When in read more and marketing, whether working at home, in a small business or
to promote lucrative business ideas, to greatly help your organization thrive
then advertising and getting people to know your brand is so important. This
