It's nestled at the foot of rugged cliffs on the Presidio's western shore. An easy stroll from the parking lot, you'll find a picnic area with tables, grills, and restrooms. Parks BOLINAS LAGOON Marin County Discover one of the parks' richest wetlands along the lush coast west of Mt. Tamalpais. Bolinas Lagoon is a 1,100-acre tidal estuary between the eccentric village of Bolinas, Highway 1, and the sandy arc of Stinson Beach. Its pristine, water-snaked marshes are home to a fascinating diversity of bird life. Parks BOLINAS RIDGE Marin County You'll imagine you're in the English countryside while strolling the rolling hills of Bolinas Ridge, a 10.5 mile trail through pastoral farmlands in lovely western Marin. Before you stretches Olema Valley, the San Andreas Rift Zone, and to the north Tomales Bay, the entry to Point Reyes. Parks CLIFF HOUSE San Francisco Perched over the Pacific above rocks populated by lounging seals, this San Francisco landmark has had many lives since it first opened in 1863. It burned down and was even damaged by a dynamite laden schooner. Promenade nearby to the glorious ruins of Sutro Baths, then head out to the... Parks DIAS RIDGE Marin County Start at the charming 17th-century-style Pelican Inn at Muir Beach in Marin and head up the chaparral-covered Dias Ridge. The five-mile trail loops across former dairy ranches and rises 700 feet. At every turn there is another dazzling panorama of the Pacific and the Marin Headlands. Parks FORT BAKER Marin County Tucked almost directly beneath the Golden Gate Bridge, this former army post is on the threshold of the dramatic coastline of the Marin Headlands. Fort Baker now houses Cavallo Point (the first national park lodge of the 21st century). * 1 * 2 * 3 * 4 * 5 * 6 * 7 * 8 * 9 * … * next › * last » Search Apply Reset TYPE * Apply Event filter Event (1426) Apply Event filter * Apply Article filter Article (623) Apply Article filter * Apply Resource filter Resource (294) Apply Resource filter * Apply Basic page filter Basic page (263) Apply Basic page filter * Apply Trail filter Trail (131) Apply Trail filter * Apply Program filter Program (59) Apply Program filter * Apply Get Involved filter Get Involved (44) Apply Get Involved filter * Apply Location filter Location (41) Apply Location filter * Apply Park filter Park (41) Apply Park filter * Apply Product filter Product (38) Apply Product filter * Apply Project filter Project (36) Apply Project filter * Apply Alert filter Alert (33) Apply Alert filter * Apply Profile filter Profile (31) Apply Profile filter * Apply Service filter Service (30) Apply Service filter * Apply Activity filter Activity (26) Apply Activity filter * Apply Topic Page filter Topic Page (20) Apply Topic Page filter * Apply Career filter Career (3) Apply Career filter * Apply Quiz filter Quiz (1) Apply Quiz filter GET 82,000 ACRES' WORTH OF NEWS.
