PRODUCTS


1. FLOUR.



Tropical Line Trading (pty) ltd supplies high quality flour both locally made
and internationally made. We supply reputable brands like Granoro Farina Tip 00
Flour, 5 Stagioni Pizza Napolitana Flour and Snowflake Wheat Flour.  

Granoro Farina Tip "00" Flour: 


This is a superior quality flour from Italy. "00"flour is a pure white and very
fine ideal for the most delicate jobs where you need something nice and light,
such as pastries, brioche, delicate cakes, desserts, bescianel, soft bread and
fresh pasta. It is available only on 1kg and also be mixed in other Granoro
flours like Semolina on Manitoba to bring extra lightness to your pizza base or
bread. Also available in stock is Granoro Semolina and Granoro Manitoba.

Granoro Manitoba Flour:


Manitoba Flour is a soft wheat flour that is extreamly resistant and is also
excellent when mixed in other flours. Manitoba flour is perfect for rustic
bread, focaccia, excellent pizza and cakes which requires long baking times. It
has a high W value (use to measure flours strenght and resistance) of 280-300,
much higher than the normal 180-200 of normal soft grain flour.

Available only in 1kg.

5 Stagioni Pizza Flour:


The 5 Stagioni Pizza Flour is the leader brand in Italy for flour. Its a soft
wheat flour custom milled and graded for pizzas, focaccia and flatbreads. It
kneads into a smooth, supple dough thats easy to work with. Finely milled and
high in protein, this flour also makes excellent homemade pasta. Certified by
the "Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana"it is valued by master pizzaioli for
its characteristics in both Italy and abroad.

Available in 10kg and 25kg.



Snowflake Wheat Flour:

Snowflake Wheat Flour is a true South African icon and heritage, it is a trusted
product in South African households for over 130 years, due to its consistent
quality of baking, delivering exceptional baking results. The snowflake product
range includes Cake Wheat flour, White and Brown Wheat flour, Self Raising Wheat
flour and Nutty Wheat high flour. Available in 500g, 1kg, 2.5kg, 5kg, 10kg and
15kg.


Snowflake White Bread Flour:
Snowflake white bread flour is a pure white flour. It is largely used by
bakeries and consumers to produce white loaf as well as thickening gravies and
sauces. Available in 500g, 1kg, 2.5kg, 5kg, 10kg and 15kg.



Snowflake brown Bread Wheat Flour:
Snowflake brown bread wheat flour is made from snowflake white bread wheat flour
to which approximately 12% fine wheater bran (a valuable source of fiber) has
been added. It is largely used by commercial bakers to produce brown bread and
domestically to make pastry, bread and scones.  Available in 500g, 1kg, 2.5kg,
5kg, 10kg and 15kg.



Snowflake Self Raising Wheat Flour:
Snowflake self raising wheat flour is cake flour to which a raising agent has
been added to give lightness to the product. It is suitable for quick-mix and
baked products such as scones, waffles, cakes and biscuits. Available in 500g,
1kg, 2.5kg, 5kg, 10kg and 15kg.



Snowflake Nutty Wheat Flour:
Snowflake Nutty Wheat Flour is whole-wheat flour that has been made from
snowflake white brand flour to which about 18% coarse wheaten bran has been
added. It is the healthiest of all flours as it has a high fiber content which
is an essential part of any diet. It is suitable for baking scones, muffins,
bread, pastries and rusks. Available in 500g, 1kg, 2.5kg, 5kg, 10kg and 15kg. 



2. TOMATOES.










Tropical Line Trading Supplies a wide range of tomatoes and sauces of supperb
quality from tomato pulp, Italian chopped/whole peeled, pizza sauces and sweat
chilli sauces. We do so in small units for retailers and restaurants and also
supply in bulk quantities for food manufacturing companies.

Italian Chopped Tomato:

Italian Dinapoli Chopped Tomato is one of the best in its category. For kitchen
where speed, ease and quality are of actual concern, our customers turn to
Italian Di Napoli tomato to meet their recipes requirements. The tomato are one
of the most versatile and time saving, they are coarsed chopped and packed
in tin cans.

Ingredients:
Tomato and Citric Acid.
Italian Whole Peeled Tomatoes:
This is whole peeled tomato in her most natural state (pomodoro perfection).
Imported from the Napoli Region in Italy, these fully bodied, silky red tomatoes
are steam peeled and packed in their own puree. Saute these tomatoes with a
little olive oil, garlic and salt and pepper, garnish with parmesan and fresh
basil for an easy mouth watering marianara in minutes. Also great in soups,
sauces and stews.

Italian Passata di Pomodoro:

Passata di pomodoro is made using the freshest and ripest tomatoes. Using this
as a base, one can create standout sauces for fresh pasta or dry, as well as
other dishes.

Available in 72oml, 10kg and 200l.

Ingredients:
Water, Tomato paste, Cane Sugar, Vinegar, Salt, Spices and Water.





Italian Pizza Sauce:

This is a traditional Italian style pizza sauce, rich blend of garlic and spices
to create their tasty sauce. Simply spread over your pizza crust, top with your
favourite cheese and toppings and you have an original and delicious pizza ready
in minutes.

Available only in 5kg tin cans


Ingredients:
Water, Tomato paste, High fructose corn syrup, Salt, Garlic powder, Onion
powder, Modified corn starch, Spices and Citric acid.













3. SUGAR.
Tropical Line Trading offers a wide range of high quality sugar, both for
households, retailers and industrial use. Our sugar range are very versatile and
could be used as general sweeteners.

Huletts White Refined Sugar:
Huletts white sugar is a granulated sugar that is fine, quick dissolving
granules and is used as a general sweetener in foods, beverages and baking. It
can also be used as bilking agent, flavor enhancer and preservative.

Available in 50g, 250g, 500g, 1kg, 2.5kg, 5kg, 10kg and 25kg.





Huletts Brown Sugar:
Huletts Brown Sugar is a dry crystallized sugar from sugar cane sap. It is light
brown in colour and is most often used in hot beverages, over cereals and
porridge and in everyday baking. It is the most popular sugar for home brewing,
as well as for canning and making confectionery products.

Available in 50g, 500g, 1kg, 3kg and 8kg. 

Huletts Baking Sugars:
1. Huletts Icing Sugar:
This is a finely powdered white ganulated sugar that has an anti-caking
ingredient added. It is mostly used to make various types of icing but is also
used for sweetening whipped cream, for making smoth, creaming desserts or in
recipes that require a very fine crumb texture. Additional, it can be used for
suagr art or for very simple. Available in 750g only.
2. Huletts Castor Sugar:
This is a fine dissolving sugar crystal, ideal for baking and for making ice
cream, meringues and desserts. Huletts castor sugar is also ideal for sprinkling
over fresh fruit. Available in 750g only.
3. Huletts Yellow Sugar:
Huletts yellow sugar is used in baking, in preserves such as jams, pickles and
chutneys and in home brewed beers and ginger beer to enhance colour. Huletts
yellow sugar adds colour to microwave baking.Available in 750g only.
4. Huletts Caramel Sugar:
Huletts caramel sugar is ideal for sprinkling over porridge and cereals and adds
a delicious flavour to coffee. It can also replace white sugar in all microwave
cooking to improve colour and is perfect for biscuits, cakes and loaves as well
as any reciepe calling for fruit in the mixture.Available in 750g only.
5. Huletts Fructose Sugar:
Huletts fructose sugar is derived from fruits, some vegitables and many other
plants, including sugar cane. Its an important source of sugar for the body.
Fructose is 1.5 times sweeter than the normal table sugar thus more kilojoule
intake and produces superior baking results and it improves the colour of baked
goods.Available in 750g only.
6. Huletts Treacle Sugar:
Is a great flavour and colour enhancer. This soft, sticky sugar keeps fruit
cakes and dark loaves, moist and is also perfect for microwave baking and meat
marinades.Available in 750g only.
4.RICE.

quality. Our rice brands are economical, extremely versatile and very easy to

Spekko Parboiled Rice:
Spekko parboiled long grain rice is the best long grain rice available. The
special parboiled process ensures that when cooking, the rice kernels are always
light, fluffy, do not stick together and are amazingly delicious.

Basmatic Rice:

Australian calrose rice is soft, tender and succulent medium grain sized grains
