MISSION

To provide international standardized certification processes that offer global
mutual recognition for EMDR Therapy Professionals who desire to become EMDR
Therapy Trainers.   

VISION

To establish the International Society of EMDR Therapy Trainers as an
international reference for EMDR Therapy Trainers so that there are clear
guidelines for the expansion, development and recognition of EMDR Therapy
Trainers with transparent certification, certification renewal, and evaluation
processes pertinent to that role. 

PURPOSE

Ensure the high quality of training and teaching of EMDR therapy by providing
accessible guidelines, criteria, and certification processes for EMDR
professionals who train mental health providers, so there is consistency,
clarity, and standardization for the exercise of that role.  

Only a professional individual can be certified by ISETT.
Institutions, non-profit companies, or businesses are not eligible for
certification.
Certification is individual and non-transferable.
