BUILD BETTER WITH ADVANCED UNDERGROUND & GRADING

ADVANCED UNDERGROUND & GRADING IS HERE TO HELP!

At Advanced Underground & Grading, we offer all the capabilities of the largest
Michigan contractor, but in a more personal package. You have a direct line to
anyone in our company. We give everything we have to every project we bid on,
from the best equipment in the industry to the best people in Michigan. We
utilize the latest technology—from Trimble GPS to detailed online project
progress tracking—to complete your project as efficiently and accurately as
possible.

You won’t find any tired iron on our jobs. We have a fleet of the latest
Caterpillar iron that’s meticulously maintained. The right equipment not only
builds your job more efficiently but provides a great office for our people too.
At the end of the day, we know the best equipment and technology mean nothing
without great people. Let us show you how We Build Michigan.

GPS ADVANTAGE:

In late 2019, we adopted Trimble GPS (Global Positioning System)  into our
company. Since adding GPS, we have been able to:

 * Reduce the time needed for projects
 * Reduce costs to clients by alleviating the need for multiple surveys, not to
   mention saved time.
 * Tightened margins and overruns on materials, in turn saving clients money
 * Set up machine control to be more accurate and more efficient

GPS adds value to the services offered by Advanced Underground & Grading at
every turn. Call us today to see if your project could benefit by having GPS
accuracy and efficiency utilized in your application.

To us, building a strong team starts from the top down. Only when we take care
and trust our team can we expect the best work from them. That’s why we believe
in total transparency, educating and investing in our people, and providing the
best benefits possible. Beyond the benefits and compensation we offer, our
company is growing extremely fast, offering opportunities for growth for those
who want it. We’ve had many people start as a laborer with no experience who are
now leading crews and managing projects. All you need here is a good attitude,
strong morals and will to work.

Who are we seeking? Are you a hard worker? Do you like working in a team
environment? Are you looking for a family atmosphere where your character — not
your job title — defines you? Check out our open job listings and send us your
application today! We’re looking for talented individuals who: Are looking for a
career, not just a job

 * Like to get their hands dirty
 * Love hard work and admiring achievement
 * Positive thinkers who make safety a top priority

AIMING FOR SAFETY EXCELLENCE!

Without safety, not much else matters. There’s no point in building
infrastructure projects if our teams are in danger while they build them.

Building a safe culture and company starts with education and training. We train
our team to recognize potential hazards and how to mitigate each hazard, before
they’re a threat to anyone’s well-being. Working safely is a continuous
discussion and state of mind on our projects, no matter where they’re located.

In case a hazard isn’t mitigated prior to work, or if conditions change everyone
at Advanced Underground & Grading has “Stop Work Authority.” This means that
anyone can stop work at any time for any reason. Once the team stops work, they
discuss what the potential hazard is, how to mitigate it, and how that hazard
came to be in the first place before resuming work.

Safety is a team effort, and we’re proud to have a team that cares not just
about their personal safety, but about the safety of everyone on the
team — including the public or anyone else who’s affected by our projects.
