is an assembly of crypto-conceptual works combining human artistry and
blockchain technology. Why do we use the term «crypto-conceptual? "Crypto"
because it is made for and by cryptography, and "conceptual" because, for us,
idea and form take precedence over content.

What is the Kreypt Music NFT?


Kreypt Music is the first NFT collection from Kreypt, the 3.0 art atelier. It is
an artistic concept mixing instrumental music and cryptography. Kreypt Music is
based on the encryption key of musical notation, a thousand-year-old historical
system using the first seven letters of the alphabet to designate the seven
notes of the tonal scale.

In a nutshell: you choose your own unique phrase, and our code automatically
encrypts your phrase into a unique melody. Your melody is interpreted, developed
and then recorded by a team of professional musicians. When you mint a Kreypt
Music NFT, you also receive the audio of your phrase-cum-melody, the video of
the recording and its associated score.
How does it work?


To start, imagine the phrase of your choice: this succession of letters is
automatically converted into a single sequence of musical notes.

Now that we’ve transformed your phrase into a sequence of musical notes, our
team of composers and arrangers will next transform your phrase — now the
beginning of a score — into an original piece of music. The theme, now a
recognizable tune, is developed during a three-minute song — just for you.

A solo pianist or a full orchestra of 22 musicians, the choice is yours, will
then record the performance of your unique piece in the studio.

How encryption works ?


The process is simple:



For the same letter, the composer can choose to add a flat or a sharp, and also
the octave.
What is in my NFT?
Our NFT is a capsule of 3 elements:
• the music,
• the video of the recording,
• and the customized score in PDF format.
How is my text unique?
After submitting your phrase, our algorithm cleans it by removing spaces,
accents and special characters. This sequence of characters is then analyzed
with the other existing phrases on our platform. A phrase can be present in two
formats: piano and orchestra.
Does Kreypt Music use AI ?
We give the code its rightful place as a tool, but it is to human artistry —
rather than tech — that we entrust the creativity, from the patron to the
performer.

We think that Kreypt Music need to be a human, organic creation. For this
specific project, we refuse generating algorithm, we refuse A.I., we even refuse
electronic instruments or programmed samples. We want the musico-cryptographic
concept to meet wood, metal, and the skin of instruments. The musics we create
come from the sweat of dozens of people : composers, arrangers, instrument
players, sound engineer, video editor, etc…
