on fubar earns you points which helps you level. When you level you unlock new
features which allow you to have more fun. fubar runs on fubucks the common
virtual currency which allows you to buy drinks for friends, play games and help
other members on the site. Whenever you earn points for doing things
on fubar, you also earn fubucks. The more points you accumulate the quicker you
will level up and unlock new features. Credits are fubar’s more premium currency

Is fubar FREE?

Yes, fubar is a free site. There are additional features and upgrades, such
as VIP status, Blasts , fu Marriage, Happy Hours, Bling, Auto 11s , Cherry
Bombs, Extra 11s, famplifier, Bomerangs and Sticky Bulletins that you that can
be purchased with credit cards, paypal or over mobile devices. 

How do points work on fubar?

You earn points while you surf and interact on fubar. When you reach a certain
level, you will unlock features and benefits such as increased photo storage,
ability to rate and comment more photos, ability to create MuMMs and more. You
can see your point total on your home page or profile page. Points also help
your Ranking; the more points you have in comparison to everyone else on the
site, the higher your ranking! babyjesus does not reveal how many points you
receive for what action, but you receive points for nearly everything you do to
interact on fubar. Points are awarded when you:

-Rate a photo

-Leave a photo comment

-Leave a comment

-Rate a member's profile

-Upload a mobile photo

-Someone becomes your fan

-Someone adds you as a friend

-Take someone's cherry comment

-Configure your mobile phone

What is the difference between fubucks and coins?

fubar runs on fubucks, the common virtual currency which allows you to buy
drinks for friends, play games and boost other members' experience on the site.
Whenever you earn points for doing things on fubar, you also earn fubucks. The
more points you accumulate, the quicker you will level up and unlock new
features and Abilities!

Coins are fubar’s premium currency that can be purchased with credit cards,
paypal, or over mobile devices. Coins allow you to purchase Bling and Special
Ability Bling which help you to unlock powerful upgrades to
your fubar experience that help you, your friends, and in some cases every

How do I change my account settings?

Your account information can be changed in your Settings. After you enter your
new information, scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will be asked
to enter capcha code (Bouncer ID check) and click "Submit" in order for your new
settings to take place.

If you do not know your current password, you will have to use the 'forgot
password' function on the login page.  This will send a recovery email to the
email address you use to login to fubar with.  You might need to check your Junk
email or Spam folders, as our emails will occasionally get sorted in to those
folders.

Why do people have different colored names?

The different colored names signify your status on the site. This is a quick
breakdown.  You can now set the priority of your color in your Settings.  Once
the leaderboards roll over, you will get the name color on your profile of the
highest ranked you are eligible for.  You don't need to have Yellow as your name
if you are top level, you can choose your favorite color to represent your name.

How do I upload a photo?

Uploading a photo is very important on fubar! You will not be able to browse
unless we can see a picture of you.  You will also get 10 times as many points
by simply uploading a photo. 

You can upload a photo on the photo upload page.

How do I customize my profile?

Customizing your profile can be done in your Settings.

Make sure you read through your settings carefully and customize however you
want. Be sure to fill out your About Me & Interests, Music & Games and Movies &
Idols. These fields will accept html code. 

You can also customize the look of your profile by "ripping a skin" from the
Profile Skins page. 

How do I earn achievements?

Achievements are earned by completing interactions on the site. Your
Achievements are noted on your account and available for your review at any time
on your Achievements page. For every 5,000 Achievement Points you earn you will
receive a random PowerUp from the Blingshop. Be sure to stop by
the Achievement page regularly. fubar updates new achievements regularly.

How do I add music or videos to my profile?

fubar gives you several options for customizing your profile with videos.

1.You have your personal fubar Video page where you can add, collect and share
videos with your friends on fubarfacebook, twitter, myspace and anyone in your
contacts.

2. You can also copy and paste the embed code into your About Me section or any
section in your Settings. The videos will display in that section of your 

How do I change my homepage style?

You can change to different homepage styles depending on your level. The higher
your level the more homepage style options. You can change your homepage style
by going into your Settings and then select your homepage style.

What are Power Ups?

Power Up's help you Power Up through the Leveling process. There are several
forms of Power Ups. Some are free, and some can be purchaed with Credits.

Leveling Up unlocks Abilities that help you through the Levels. The further
along you are in the Leveling process the more Abilities you will Unlock that
will help you and your friends Level and gain ranking.

Bling gifts help you level because of the Points you receive when giving and
receiving Bling gifts. 

Power Up Bling are the mostimportant resource to help you and your friends
advance through fubar's Levels. Power Up Bling can be purchased for your self or
gifted with Credits in the Bling Shop.



What are the Pokes?

You can poke people to get their attention!  All you have to do is go to their
page and find poke under the flirt options.  This will send them a notificaiton
that you have used one of the ten pokes on you, and they can poke you back!  The
new pokes are:

How do I meet people on fubar?

fubar makes it easy to meet people with similar interest in your area by using
our SEARCH feature. This special search link is located midway on the gray
header bar from your home page. You can search by member name, sex, or zip code,
and narrow it down by limiting miles around your home town!

If you are looking for fubar members around your age anywhere in the fu-niverse,
check out fubar CONNECT.  This will match you up with loads of people your age
and bring you new people every day!

How do I change my password?

Your password can be changed by going to Settings. Click on the change password
button and follow the prompts for the change to take place. Please write it down
in a safe place. NEVER give out your password to anyone.

You can also use the 'forgot password' function on the login page.  This will
send a recovery email to the email address you use to login to fubar with.

Where do I go for billing or purchasing problems?

If you have a problem with a purchase or billing issue on fubar, please email
support@fubar.com or send a personal message to www.fubar.com/support.

Please include quick summary of the problem and a link to your profile and we
will get back to you as soon as possible.

How can I fix my email alerts so they deliver to my inbox?

There are a few things that you can check when you are not receiving emails from
fubar.  First of all, make sure your email address is correct, and that you have
your email notifications set to ON in your account settings.  You can also see
if your email address is blacklisted in your account settings.  Your email will
be blacklisted for a few reasons; if the emails we send to you bounce and cannot
reach your inbox, or if you mark our emails as spam.

You can easily remove your email from the blacklist by verifying your email
address in your account settings or writing a private message to fubar support.

Also, make sure you add the following email addresses to your address book OR
allowed list on your email account:

This list covers all of the email addresses that we send information to you
about upcoming events on fubar, notifications and special emails that we send

If you do all this and are still not getting emails from us, make sure you check

folder, make sure to mark them "Not Spam."

What are fubar anniversary gifts and how do I get them?

The Anniversary Gifts were launched 7/16/15. We are not backfilling the
Achievement or Gift if your anniversary happened to fall before we launched
this. 

You will need to make sure your email alerts from fubar are turned on and are
working correctly. fubar will send you a speical anniversary email on your fubar
monthly anniversary. You will need to open the email and redeem the Gift from
there. Once you click on the link inside the email and log in, you will receive
a special monthly anniversary gift. Make sure to keep your email alerts on as
you will be able to collect your monthly anniversary gifts. You will be able to
also get achievements for collecting 1, 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 anniverary gifts. 

The best thing you can do to ensure that you receive all of our emails is to
make sure and add the following addresses to your address book. If you see that
some of our emails are delivering to your spam folder, make sure you remove them
from your spam folder by marking them NOT SPAM.

Fame Meter

Fame is the name of the game! Your fame meter is updated in real time based on
how many people are showing you love or even just checking you out, compared to
everyone else on the site. The more attention you receive, relative to other
members, will effect your fame meter in real-time — no waiting for it to update!
However, just like in Hollywood — fame doesn't last forever!

Most Active Members

We're adding a new color for the hustlers we have out there!  Every day, the
most active people on the site will earn the Pimpin' purple, a badge of honor
for all the rates, likes, and interactions with other members.  Give these
people all the love, because they're the ones that are going to be giving it
back!  Similar to the Green color, you will be competing with the other members
on the site for the Purple badge, so you're going to have to work for it!

Sh*tface Special Ability

The Sh*tface Special Ability is unlocked at level 30.  You will be able to boost
another member's Buzz Meter up to 100% for 6 hours.  To use this ability, look
for the Lightning bolt on the profile, this will show you all of the Abilities
you can use on that person's page.

 

All of the Special Abilities cost ability points.  You get these when you level
up, and you will refil your Ability Points every day, so you should use them as
often as you can.

Buzzkill Special Ability

The Buzzkill Special Ability is unlocked at level 30.  You will be able to drop
another member's Buzz Meter down to 0%.  To use this ability, look for the
Lightning Bolt on the profile, this will show you all of the Abilities you can
use on that person's page.

 

All of the Special Abilities cost ability points.  You get these when you level
up, and you will refil your Ability Points every day, so you should use them as
often as you can.

Pimpout Special Ability

The Pimpout Special Ability is unlocked at level 30.  Will make another persons
profile a promoted page for ten minutes, getting them a ton of attention.  To
use this ability, look for the Lightning bolt on the profile, this will show you
all of the Abilities you can use on that person's page.

 

All of the Special Abilities cost ability points.  You get these when you level
up, and you will refil your Ability Points every day, so you should use them as
often as you can.

Reset 11s Special Ability

The Reset 11's Special Ability is unlocked at level 30.  It will reset the
amount of 11 ratings that member can use per day. To use this ability, look for
the Lightning bolt on the profile, this will show you all of the Abilities you
can use on that person's page.

 

All of the Special Abilities cost ability points.  You get these when you level
up, and you will refill your Ability Points every day, so you should use them as
often as you can.

Point Boost Special Ability

The Point Boost Special Ability is unlocked at level 30.  It will add a 5% point
bonus for that member for one hour. To use this ability, look for the Lightning
bolt on the profile, this will show you all of the Abilities you can use on that
person's page.

 

All of the Special Abilities cost ability points.  You get these when you level
up, and you will refill your Ability Points every day, so you should use them as
often as you can.

What are tooltips?

Tooltips are those nifty small boxes of information that appear when you put
your mouse over someone's image or name. The information displayed includes the
persons name, photo, location, Rank, rating, direct links to their profile and
photo pages as well as quick ways to interact with them!

What is the difference between a friend and a fan?

A Friend must accept your request to become a Friend. A Fan can become a Fan of
anyone on the site. fubar has millions of people, and if you aren't getting
through as a friend you can always follow the person as a fan.

How do I remove a fan?

How do I search for someone?

Members can use our Search feature that is located at the top right hand corner
of your home page. General Search for those on fubar or Web via Google search;
Location Search to find those members who are 10 -100 miles of the ZIP code that
you type in, and you have a selection of locating Women only, Men only, Don't
care, and can select by relationship status. Member Search searches by Name or
Email Address.

At the current time, location search only includes zip codes within the USA.

How can I find help?

The Help link is located at the top right hand side of your Home Page.
Please read the entire fubar Bible. Many of your questions will be answered
here. If your question is not answered in the fubar Bible, please stop by the
fubar Support Lounge, our 24 hour technical support chat room run by volunteer
members who are standing by to help problem solve any questions. You can also
stop by the fubar Support Blog for up-to-date site information as it breaks. If

What is a bulletin?

A Bulletin is a message that can be sent to your Friends or all of your Friends
plus Fans. To create a bulletin, click on the My Bulletin Board link from your
homepage, then click on the "post a new bulletin!" link. You will see an option
to send the bulletin to all of your Friends or both your Friends and Fans. Type
in the subject and content of your bulletin and hit the "post" button to submit.
You can also Preview your bulletin first to see how it will be viewed once it is
sent.

If you want to make sure that your bulletin is seen, you can 'Sticky' it so that
it sticks in the top of your Friends, or all of your Friends plus Fans bulletin
space for 24hrs. When you are creating a bulletin there click the yellow 'Make
Sticky' link. If you see a Friend's bulletin that you like, you can sticky that
as well by clicking on the bulletin, then clicking the 'Make Sticky' box.

fubar prohibits posting of commercial and NSFW content in bulletins.

How do I repost a bulletin

When you read a bulletin in your bulletin board, there is a button to "repost"
the bulletin. Reposting is often necessary because the person who posted the
bulletin might not be friends with everyone who you're friends with so it allows
you to "repost" the bulletin in your bulletin board to all YOUR friends. This
way, your friends can see it too without you having to cut & paste. A small note
is added to the bottom of the post to indicate who reposts it. It costs 10
fuBucks to re-post bulletins.

Please do not repost NSFW or commercial materials in the bulletins.

How do I delete a bulletin

Click on the "my bulletin board" link at the top of your bulletins on your
homepage. You will be given the option to delete from there.

How do I keep tabs on my bulletins?

Your bulletins can be viewed from your bulletin board alongside bulletins from
your friends and fans. Click into your bulletin board page to see the views,
comments, and date posted. You can only delete your own bulletins from the site.




How do I turn off email alerts?

You can turn off email alerts by going to your Home Page and clicking on the
"My" drop down menu and selecting "Settings" on the top left hand side of your
page. Look for the "email alerts" tab and make sure it says "off", then scroll
down to the bottom of the page where you will be asked to enter a code (Bouncer
ID check) and click "submit" in order for your new settings to take place.

What is a crush?

The Crush feature allows members to anonymously have crushes on other members.
Any member can have a crush on any other member, but only one crush can be given
out per member. However, any given member can have multiple crushes from
multiple members.

To select your crush, go to their profile and hit the "Make my crush!" link
below their primary photo. Once you've selected your crush, they will be sent an
alert that tells them that someone anonymously has a crush on them. You must be
level 3 or greater to have a crush on someone.

How do I remove a crush?

Click on the trash can icon above the crush field and follow the prompt.

What is a lounge?

Lounges are areas on the site created by fubar members where multiple members
can meet in one place all at once and chat. By default, you are automatically
subscribed to the fubar Support Lounge upon signing up. Members can easily
subscribe and unsubscribe to their favorite lounges.

How do I create a lounge?

Click on the "My" drop down menu on the gray headerbar and select "lounges" on
the top left hand side of your page. Look for the "create a lounge" link and
follow the prompts. Keep in mind that fubar Support will NOT teach you how to
create a lounge, but you can likely find help from power members and bouncers
when visiting the fubar Support Lounge. You must be level 10 or greater to
create a lounge and it costs 100, 000 fubucks.

The following rules must be followed in your lounge. Not doing so will result in
your lounge being locked or deleted:

 * NO tip jars!! You may not solicit for payments of any kind in the lounge
 * You are responsible and accountable for all radio stream content in your
   lounge
 * Read and be familiar with our terms of service. These apply to the lounges.
   If they are not followed, your lounge will be deleted and your profile may as
   well

NOTE: If your lounge is popular, you'll make some fuBucks every week.  If nobody
uses it, you'll be charged a few fuBucks to keep it open after a week.  If your
account is inactive for 90 days *AND* you fail to pay your weekly inactive
lounge fee, your lounge will automatically be removed.  You can delete your
lounge any time.




How do I browse for a lounge?

Click on the "My" drop down menu on the gray headerbar and select "lounges" on
the top left hand side of your page. Look for the "browse lounges" link. You can
browse by name, number of members, and date created.

What is a private lounge?

A private lounge is invite only. This means that you must be invited by the
owner (creator) of the lounge to be a member. We do not allow any type of pay
for cam services. This includes donations or anything that is soliciting
publicly or privately on the site. Your account will be removed immediately. GO
AWAY STUPID WEB CAMMERS!

How do I unsubscribe from a lounge?

Once you have subscribed to a lounge and no longer wish to be a member, you can
unsubscribe by simply going back into that lounge. An "unsubscribe from this
lounge" link will have taken over the "subscribe to this lounge" link. Click on
that, and it will delete that lounge from your list of lounges. (If it does not
reset right away, clear your cache and cookies.)

How do I use emoticons on fubar?

Please check out our emoticons page to see a list of available emoticons and the
text combinations to generate them.

Can I filter out other members profile skins on fubar?

Sure! If you don't agree with the sense of style other members have, you can go
to your profile settings page and set Ignore Profile Skins to Yes. With this
setting enabled, all member pages will be rendered with the normal fubar style.

Can I filter out other members annoying music / videos?

If you don't want to see other members music / video content that's embedded on
their profiles or comment areas, go to your profile settings page and set Filter
Embedded Content to the level you'd like.

Note: Turn this on if you're annoyed by profiles that load slowly or crash your
computer-- that's normally caused by someone with 10 or 50 videos embedded on
their page... yikes!

What kind of coding can I use on my Home Page?

HMTL coding can be used within your About Me, Music, Interests and Comments. CSS
(cascading style sheets) coding is applied to our skins/ layouts for your
Lounges and profile skin layouts. You can NOT use HTML on your Home Page or
Lounge "Skins". Flash coding is restricted from most areas of the site. If it
doesn't work, it is probably blocked.

Where can I find fubar skins?

fubar premade skins can be found at this link: fubar Premade Skins - from
TweakYourPage.com. If you are familiar with CSS coding, you are welcome to code
a skin for yourself, but fubar will not do this for you nor will fubar aid you
in this process. There are a lot of very helpful members and Bouncer staff that
are willing to help you create yours if you stop by the fubar Support Lounge and
request some assistance.

How do I use & Edit My Skins?

From your Home Page, click the "edit my skins" below your avatar in the middle
of the page. The "Edit my skins" feature allows members to easily edit their
page layout or browse other members’ designs to rip their skins. You can
activate multiple skins and one will be selected at random each time someone
checks your profile.

fubar uses CSS coding for skins. Most HTML will NOT work for skins. FuBar does
allow for some html coding to be placed in the various sections for skins and/or
tag additions.
Please refer to this link for examples of CSS coded skins: fubar Premade Skins -
from TweakYourPage.com. You can also create your OWN original skin by dropping
your codes in to the CREATE A SKIN page within your MY SKINS link.

How do I "Rip" a skin?

If you are browsing around fubar and you see a skin you like, you can "rip" the
skin by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking on the "rip this
skin" link. In order to activate, you must click on the "Edit my skins" link
from your fubar homepage.

How do I rip an album skin?

Ripping an album skin is as easy as ripping a profile skin. Click into your
photo gallery by using the "my" drop down menu. Click on the link that says
"Skin Albums" under Photo Albums header on the left. You will be able to browse
other users skins and rip any skin you like. You can also customize your own
album skins by using the customization link. If you have more questions, please
stop by the fubar Support Lounge.

What are points and how do I earn them?

You earn points while you surf and interact on fubar. When you reach a certain
level, you will unlock features and benefits such as increased photo storage,
ability to rate and comment more photos, ability to create MuMMs and more. You
can see your point total on your home page or profile page. Points also help
your Ranking; the more points you have in comparison to everyone else on the
site, the higher your ranking! babyjesus does not reveal how many points you
receive for what action, but you receive points for nearly everything you do to
interact on fubar. Points are awarded when you:

 * Rate a photo
 * Leave a photo comment
 * Leave a comment
 * Rate a member's profile
 * Upload a mobile photo
 * Someone becomes your fan
 * Someone adds you as a friend
 * Take someone's cherry comment
 * Configure your mobile phone
 * Successfully invite someone to join fubar and earn up to $5,000 fubucks
 * Successfully complete a survey
 * Post a Blast! - earn points each time you post a BLAST on fubar! Send special
   shoutouts to your family and friends.

 * Host a Happy Hour- get a commission of ALL points made during your Happy Hour

How do I increase my ranking?

Your fubar ranking is a sum of different aspects of the site. It is calculated
based on your overall rating, the number of times you have been rated, how often
your profile is viewed, how many people you have invited and joined fubar, and
how many fans you have.

Why don't I get any points when people rate my profile?

Photos flagged as NSFW will not get any points for ratings and comments. Photos
you have ripped from other users also do not earn you points.

How do I become a top promoter?

The PURPLE highlighted names designate the top 10 promoters who have generated
the most legitimate referrals in the last 24 hours. To become a Top Promoter,
you need to refer and successfully join a higher amount of new users compared to
other members.

what is a Sticky Bulletin?

A Sticky Bulletin is a bulletin that will stay locked at the top of your
bulletin board for 24 hours. This way your bulletin will not scroll off your
friends' bulletin boards when other bulletin are posted. You can make any
bulletin a Sticky one by clicking the yellow "MAKE STICKY!" link on the top of
any bulletin or checking the "Sticky Bulletin" box when you post a new bulletin.

Who do I contact if I have a problem with my blast or bulletin?

What are Packs?

Packs are groups of members on the site associated by their verified email
address. For example, people who verify an official US Marine Corps. email
address (ie: mhedlund@usmc.mil) are added to the US Marine Corps. pack. Students
at Virginia Tech who verify their school email address (ie: mhedlund@vt.edu) are
added to the Virginia Tech pack.

Members of a pack have their Pack Icon displayed on their tooltip (the little
box of data that pops up when you mouse over someones photo), fubar home page,
and on their profile. Pack members also receive extra functionality to browse,
communicate, notify, and keep in contact with all other members of their pack.

Packs are currently limited to US Military branches and worldwide educational
institutions only. If you've verified your email address, meet the above
criteria, and don't find yourself associated with a Pack (there will be an icon
for your Pack on your homepage), please email support@fubar.com and submit your
request for a new Pack.

Note: the more members you have ready to join your pack when you submit it, the
quicker we'll add it. :-)

Why are some member's names green?

The top 25 people who are liked the most get their names highlighted in
flourecent green. This is not to be confused with NEW members whose screen names
are hunter green.

Blast Likes

We have recently added likes to the blast page.  These blast likes will count
against your daily total of likes, but will not count towards profile like
achievements.  When you like a blast you will be able to like the same blast
again after the nightly reset.  PowerUps such as the Likenado and Rock Stars
will not reset the likes on the blasts.

Fubucks, Coins, Power Ups

What are fuBucks?

As you earn Points, you will also earn fuBucks. Points and fuBucks will earn at
the same rate points will never go away but you can spend fubucks. Points will
always accumulate and never decrease, but fuBucks can be spent on gifts, Happy
Hours, fuOwn, and baller items. You can use these fuBucks to buy virtual gifts
for anyone on fubar! Use them to either flirt, cheer someone up, or just for
fun! You will find the fubar Gift Shop link on a member's profile page in the
top left section. fuBucks can also be used to buy users in fuOwned and to
purchase extra guesses in the Admirer game!

fuBucks will cap out at 100 Trillion (100,000,000,000,000) and you cannot earn
more than that.  If you earn more than 1 trillion fuBucks in a day it will not
be added to your total.

What is Transfers?

Transfers is a fubar feature that allows users to transfer their fuBucks or
bling credits to other users. You may do this because one of your friends is
broke and needs to pay their lounge fee, or because you want to help them bid
for spotlight! Why you transfer them is up to you. Keep in mind however, that
for fuBucks you will be charged a transaction fee of 20% of the amount you
transfer. For example, if you transfer 100 fuBucks to someone, your account will
be charged a total of 120 fuBucks. Keep this in mind when transferring large
amounts. If you do not have a salute, the transaction fee is 50%



Transfers also allows you to send bling credits to a friend. There are 0 fees
for transfering credits. For example, if you transfer 100 credits to someone,
your account will be charged a total of 100 credits.

You can access Transfers by going into the fubar Gift Shop and selecting the
Transfers option at the top or buy going to the page of the user you want to
give funds to and clicking on the Transfers logo under their photo.

What is the gift shop?

The Gift Shop is where you can give FREE virtual drinks, beers, gifts and other
items for your friends on fubar. To give a gift, you only need to earn fubucks,
which you do just by using the site!

What are virtual gifts?

A GREAT ice-breaker! A virtual gift can be "purchased" with fuBucks from
the fubar Gift Shop. There are a variety of items to choose from and gifts range
in price from 50 to over 1,000,000 fuBucks. When you browse someone's profile
you will see a link at the top left of their page that says, "GIVE A GIFT!".
Click on that link and you will be able to buy that person a virtual gift. You
can also click on the Giftshop link on the top of your page and choose friends
to give gifts to, or you can click on the "give gift" link in the tooltip when
you hover over their thumbnail.

How does an invite bonus work?

fubar rewards you by giving bonuses for when your friends join and use fubar -
up to 20,000 fuBucks and points per friend! Here's how it works:

We cannot track your fuBucks, so it is up for you to track your own point
rewards as they come to you. If you do not see your referral on your join page,
then it's likely that they did not join successfully under your invite, and
their user error will not send you credit. This could have happened because they
signed up on the same computer as you sent them the link or email from, or they
were previously a fubar member. You also will not receive the referral
points/fuBucks if you are frozen at level 5 or level 10 due to level up
requirements at the time they joined.

NOTE: credit rewards are for accepted *EMAIL* invites only!

What is Bling?

Bling are special gifts that you can give to other members by using
your Credits. The Blingshop is ever changing and includes gifts that are rare,
Limited Edition Bling, Bling that can grant you Power Up and help you when
trying to Level. and those that are specific to a certain season. Be sure to
check the Bling Shop often to see the latest editions!  For every Credit spent
on Bling, you and the receiver will get 100,000 points per credit spent.

What are coins and how do I purchase them?

Coins can be purchased on your homepage by clicking the "Buy More" link on the
gold module or in the Bling Shop. Coins are used to buy Bling gifts, Power
Ups, Blasts, Happy Hours, VIP, and more.

What is the daily rank and how do I improve it?

 

The daily rank leaderboard module (LEFT) helps you keep track of your
daily fubar ranking progress. The big green or red number and up or down arrow
tells you how many spots you moved up or down the fubar leaderboard in the last
24 hours. This rank is determined by the total amount of points you accumulated
in the last 24 hours and will change daily depending on your activity on fubar.
The best way to move up in daily rank is to use the site and interact with other
members. 

The Newbie Rank Meter (RIGHT) will show you how you are stacking up against
other new members.  When you log in, you will see how your rank has change in
the early stages of your profile.  If your rank gets high enough as a new
member, you will earn special bonuses that only new members can get.

The Daily Rank leaderboard graph (BELOW) is a new addition to the fubar daily
rank. The graph allows you to see your progress plotted on a graph as well as
compare your fubar daily rank graph with other members. Click on the fubar daily
rank module and add add your friends, competition or anyone you want to compare
your daily rank progress with. 



How do I cancel my VIP status?

Log into your account and go to your "profile" settings under the "My" drop down
menu on the top left side of your homepage. Next, click on the "Check your VIP
Status" link on the bottom left of your profile settings page.

Note: If you're attempting to delete your entire fubar account, keep in mind
that you must wait until your VIP status discontinues. Once your VIP runs out,
or is cancelled by you, you may then continue to delete your account.

How do I buy a blast?

To buy a Blast for yourself, click on the yellow "Add Blast Now!" link on the
upper right hand side of your home page. To buy a blast for a friend, go to
their page and click on the "buy a gift blast!" on the left side of the page and
follow the prompts.

How do I keep up on my Blast?

Blasts can be accounted for by clicking on the "Blasts" link in the "My"
drop-down menu in the main navigation bar.

What is a buzz meter?

You will see a Buzz bar on everyone's profile. You start off 0% or dry, and can
get 100% sh*t faced! The only way to get a buzz is to have people give you
drinks from the Gift Shop (found under the Party Time category). The more drinks
you receive, the more your buzz increases. The higher your buzz is when you
receive points, the more bonus points you receive! You cannot buy yourself
drinks. Remember, the point here is to interact with others! **Hint:One of the
drink options (with the 100% bar) from the fuBling Shop will get *anyone* sh*t
faced!



How long will my buzz last?

Your buzz will start decreasing 24 hours after you received your first drink,
but will continue to go up the more drinks you receive daily.

What is the difference between Coins, Bling, and PowerUps?

Coins can be purchased in the blingshop by clicking the "Buy More" link on the
gold module or in the Bling Shop. Coins are used to buy Bling gifts, PowerUps,
Blasts, Happy Hours, VIP, Tickers and more.  

Bling are special gifts that you can give to other members by using your Coins.
The Bling Shop is ever changing and includes gifts that are rare, gifts that can
grant you PowerUps when trying to Level. and those that are specific to a
certain season. Be sure to check the Bling Shop often to see the latest
editions!  For every Coin spent on Bling, you and the receiver will get 100,000
points per coin.

Special Abilities

Special Abilities are things you earn as you level up.  Special Abilities are
used for increasing your Buzz, increasing your family size for a short period of
time, or pimping out your friends.  These abilities are unlocked as you level,
and require Ability points to use.  You have a limited number of ability points
that you can use every day.

Power Up Activation

There are many ways you can activate your PowerUp Bling

 Desktop - To activate the PowerUps you have purchased, you can hover over the
PowerUp with your cursor, and select Activate.  Once you Activate the PowerUp,
you will see the PowerUp bling by your name on the site, and this will bring
more people to your page.  You can also activate PowerUps from your PowerUp
module in the bottom left corner of your page.

 

Bless

Level 80 and up members are allowed to bless new members to help get them
going.  After 3 blessings, the new member will get a minirang, which is a
boomrang that lasts for 1 hour instead of 4. Members get the following blessings
per day:

Top level: 15,

88 and up: 10,

87: 9,

86: 8,

85: 7,

84: 6,

83: 5,

82: 4,

81: 3,

80: 2

What is clear my likes/rates lock?

Clearing your likes or rates locks makes it so you can go like or rate members
that you've already liked or rated. Example: If I like all of my friends and
family and then clear my likes, I will be able to like them again. The same goes
for clearing your rates.

The iPhone app can be found in the apple app store or you can get it

Once you have the app installed you will have to login using your fubar username
and password.  If you don't have a fubar username, you can create an account

Pictures

Where do I go to report underage users?

fubar is an 18 and over site. If you see an underage member, report to any of
our Bouncers or fubar Support. The member ID or URL to their profile is needed
to investigate and their account will be deleted as soon as possible if
underage. You can find a bouncer here.

What is the daily comment and rating limit and when does it reset?

Your limit on commenting and photo rating depends on your level and ranges from
5 to 2000. Once you have reached your daily limit, it will take 24 hours to
reset.

How do I increase my photo storage?

Initially you can upload 50 photos at the Freshmeat level, but it goes up
quickly from there once you begin interacting with fubar and increasing your
level. Please refer to the Levels to see how much photo storage you unlock with
each level.  You can also benefit from an enormous amount of photo storage by
purchasing a VIP membership which allows up to 5000 photos!

How do I load my photos into my gallery?

Photos can easily be uploaded into your gallery by clicking on the "My" link on
the gray header bar and then selecting the "Photos" link in the drop down menu.
From your images page, click the "Add Images" link at the top right of the page.
Unless otherwise specified, the photos will be automatically uploaded to your
Default Album.  You can also click on the add/edit photos link directly below
your profile picture on your homepage. 

You have a single and multi upload option. Some photos (such as gifs) upload
more efficiently with the single uploader and not all browsers will work with
the multi-loader. Select the photo(s) you wish to upload and hit "Send" or
"Upload Image". Depending on your connecting speed and the amount of photos you
are uploading, this can take from 3 seconds to several minutes. If your photos
do not upload, restart and try again.

 

What size can my pictures be?

The maximum image size is 1MB. Valid image types are: JPG, PNG, & GIF.

I'm trying to upload a picture and I am getting an error message, what's wrong?

Check the size or the style of your image that you are trying to upload. Photos
can not exceed the maximum image size is 1MB. Valid image types are: JPG, PNG, &
GIF.

 

GIF Pictures have a frame limit as well as a size limit.  Pictures can only have
10 frames.

How do I change my default or primary picture?

Click on the "My" link and select "Photos" on the top left hand side of your
page. Once inside your gallery, find the image you want to set as your primary
photo or avatar. Click on the link right below the photo you wish to make your
default that says "Set as my primary photo." You can also click on the add/edit
photos link below your profile photo on your homepage. Once you are in your
gallery, click the link that says "Set as my primary photo" next to the photo
you wish to use as your default. Setting inappropriate or adult photos that are
not FLAGGED will result in the termination of your account.



What does it mean to "Rip" a photo?

fubar allows members to "rip" content from one another. It is always best to ask
a member before you take a photo, skin or one of their trackz. Each "ripped"
item will show the path of its originator. fubar will NOT get involved in
"ripped” photo disputes. If you do not wish to have your photos "ripped", do
not upload them to your gallery.

What is considered NSFW (Not Safe For Work)?

A photo is deemed NSFW if it is:

 * Explicitly sexual in nature (suggestive) and includes real photos, cartoon
   drawings, and all styles of animations
 * Overtly tasteless
 * Slandering to any person or ethnicity
 * Contains exposed body parts and no face (chest, etc. for both men and women)
   

In addition to the above criteria, if a photo is a primary photo, it will be
flagged as NSFW if it also contains a suggestive body part without the member's
face in the photo. If you have a borderline photo that is not considered NSFW
and it was marked as such, there's a chance someone who has ripped that photo is
using it as a Primary Photo. Remember: The Bouncers will be MORE STRICT with
those used as Primary Photos.

Accounts will be terminated for abusing the adult content policy. This includes
your Home page, Bulletins, Comments, MUMMs, Stash, Blasts, Spotlight, and Blogs.

fubar will not dispute photos that they have marked NSFW as it is at their own
discretion. 

How do I set my photos to private?

Click on the "My" link and select "Photos" on the top left hand side of your
home page. You can also click the add/edit photos option under your default on
your homepage. Once inside your gallery, select the album you wish to set to
private from the list of albums on the left of your gallery. Look for the "album
options" link at the top of the gallery next to the "delete album" link and
right below your album title. You will be able to change the name of the album
and adjust the privacy settings however you like by clicking on that
link. fubar gives you the option to display albums to: everyone, friends only,
family only and only myself. 

Note: If you delete the name of your album during this process and save the
changes, your photo album will become locked. Please make sure your photo albums
are named.

How do I create another photo album?

Click on the "My" link and select "Photos" on the top left hand side of your
page, or click on add/edit photos under your default picture on your homepage.
Once inside your gallery, look for the prompt "Create New Album" at the bottom
of the page. Name the album whatever you want and then click on the "Create
Album" button.

How do I make my photo my background?

Click on the "My" link and select "Photos" on the top left hand side of your
page. You can also click the add/edit photos link under your default picture on
your homepage. Once inside your gallery, look for the "set as background" link
next to the photo(s) you wish to set as your background. You may opt to choose
several of your photos, which will load in random order upon each refreshing of
your Home Page.

What is a salute and how do I make one?

Take a photo of yourself with the following information clearly displayed in the
photo.

 

1. Your SCREEN NAME, 
2. Your Member ID number, (which is located in the end of your URL address;
www.fubar.com/user/22)
3. AND, the word: fubar

Photos must be of your FULL face and unobstructed by hats or sunglasses. They
must be clear and bright and NOT photoshopped in any way. Please make sure to
not have mystery man hands that are obviously superimposed. Hold the salute like
a normal person and do not cut off your arms, hands, etc. If you are going to
write on yourself, make sure to have a few legit paper salutes first. 

If you would like to see why we are strict about this, stop by my Hall of
Shame and see the fake salute attempts. Don't do this please. You will be
exposed, and you will not be happy when your salute is removed. 




The following items will be accepted as a complimentary addition to your salute:
You wearing a fubar t-shirt or you in front of your fubar homepage (not your
profile page or any other fubar page) that is CLEARLY visible.

 * Photoshopped or any "type" print will NOT be accepted.
 * Grainy and barely legible salutes will NOT be accepted.
 * Salutes placed in a PRIVATE album will NOT be accepted.
 * Salutes where part of your face can not be seen will not be accepted
 * Black and White photos will NOT be accepted
   
 * You must have your arm of the hand holding the salute clearly showing.

How do I submit a salute?

Upload your salute to your main gallery just like you would any other photo.
Click on the "Submit as a salute!" link below the photo. Once you click to
submit, a verification page will come up to confirm your entry. Confirm the
photo(s) that you want to be verified and wait. Once your salute(s) is verified
by our staff, it will appear at the top of your gallery page. 

All Salutes are approved by the fubar Bouncers. Using fake or bogus photos will
result in your account being removed. NSFW, privately marked, or exposed photos
are NOT acceptable. We will reject any salute that looks suspect or is
questionable. Please do not take this personally.

What do I do if my salute is rejected?

If your Salute is rejected, please simply submit a new salute following the
above guidelines. If you see a salute that looks FAKE, please report to a
bouncer (orange highlighted name) or fubar Support. We will audit any salute
that is deemed FAKE and take appropriate action immediately. We are a community
regulated site and appreciate your feedback.

What do I do if my salute is deleted?

If your salute is deleted you will be asked to re-submit a new salute. If you
submit multiple FAKE salutes, your account will be removed. Please do not take
it personally if your salute was rejected or deleted, our goal is to ensure that
verified members are legitimate people.

What are the guidelines for avatars/main pictures?

Avatars and main photos must be pg rated and not contain the following:

* no bare chests. (men, or women... duh)
* no lingerie, bras, bathing suits or underwarez.
* nothing deemed sexually suggestive, at our discretion.

Any primary photos which we find in violation of the policy will be marked as
NSFW (even if they wouldn't normally have been marked NSFW had they NOT been a
primary photo). Repeated offenses will result in suspension and/or removal of
your account (the same as if you break other rules on the site, repeatedly).

Private Album Lists

You can create an album that is only viewable by people you allow to view it.
 First, select album options and set the album to private.  From there, you can
set the name of the album, and which group of people is allowed to view it.  You
can select custom and add people you have recently viewed, friends, or your
family members to the list.  You can add up to 200 people to an album.

 



Videos & Videochat

How do I add YouTube videos to my fubar page?

This new feature just dropped last night and will be evolving. Please check it
out and give me feedback. 

You are now able to add your favorite YouTube videos to your fubar page. 

1. Click on the MY on the header bar and look for the VIDEO
link. http://www.fubar.com/videos.php




2. This will lead you to your YouTube Video page where you can collect and save
all your favorite videos.

 


3. Go to YouTube and find your favorite video. Click on the SHARE link below the
video. This will give you a youtube URL that you will need to copy.

 




4. Paste the youtube link into your YouTube Video page. See the example below.

Where do I watch people's videochat broadcasts?

You can view people's video broadcasts from from the videochat broadcast page.

How do I video chat or video broadcast on fubar?

You can video chat publicly or privately on fubar by turning on your web cam and
opening your video chat page. Your video chat page will open a small videochat
browser where you can adjust your videochat settings to customize your video
chat experience. 

Why doesn't my videochat work?

If you are trying to videochat with somone, you will need to turn on your web
cam and open your video chat window. 

Messages

What is Chat? Can anyone read it? Where do I go to clear it?

Your Chat is your private chat area -- only you can read the messages inside
your Chat. With this feature you can instantly chat with anyone on fubar. You
can send someone a chat message three ways: 

1) Click on the Chat links throughout fubar (i.e. on a member profile in the
upper left hand side, on a bulletin, etc.) or
2) Click on the member's name when it appears in your Chat boxâ„¢.
3) Use the "IM:" field inside the window that pops up when you preview a
profile.

When you click on the chat link to chat with another member, a box with their
profile stats will pop up. You can start typing as soon as it opens, or you
might need to move your cursor inside the text entry field before typing, then
hit ENTER to send.

When talking to multiple members at once, you can click on their name, and when
the box opens up to chat, click the "open chat window" link and it will open a
separate chat window between you and that member. 

To clear your Chat click on the white icon (person throwing trash away) inside
your Chat window. This will clear all of your Chat window contents.

If your Chat stops working, it is likely that you have been given a 'timeout'
for spamming. This is avoided by not sending the same message to numerous users.

How do I leave someone a comment?

Just click on the LEAVE COMMENT link in the upper left hand of a member's
profile, or scroll to the bottom of their comments on their profile page and
type in the comment field. If you're unable to leave a comment, it is likely
that the member has set their comment permissions to friends/fans/family only.
Typed and HTML are allowed in the comments, unless the page owner denies HTML
styled comments. NSFW and commercial comments are prohibited.

How do I send someone a message?

Just click on the SEND PRIVATE MESSAGE link in the upper left hand corner of a
member's profile. Or you can click on the message icon in the tooltip of the
person you wish to send a message.

How can I read my messages?

You can open your messages by clicking on the yellow "new messages" link within
your Feed at the top, left of your Home Page, or by clicking into the MY link
and selecting MESSAGES from the drop down menu. This will take you to your
message page where you can read, reply and delete messages.

How do I delete a message?

When in your inbox, check the white box next to each entry that you wish to
delete and hit the "delete" link. Your page will refresh with your current
messages. 

If you receive an alert that says you have 1 unread message, but there appear to
be no messages in your inbox, click on the alert and when the tooltip drops
down, click into the message through the tooltip. Once on that message, select
delete. OR, you can wait for new messages to come in, and once they do, delete
all messages which will clear the "1 unread" alert.

Abuse Reporting

Where do I go to report underage users?

fubar is an 18 and over site. If you see an underage member, report to any of
our Bouncers or fubar Support. The member ID or URL to their profile is needed
to investigate and their account will be deleted as soon as possible if
underage. You can find a bouncer here.

Someone on fubar is harassing/threatening/abusing me what do I do?

If you are having problems with another member on fubar, please block and ignore
this person. fubar staff and bouncers will NOT get in the middle of member
disputes. To BLOCK a member, go to their page and look for the block user link. 

Per our terms of service, section 7 regarding member disputes: You are solely
responsible for your interactions with other fubar.com Members. fubar.com, Inc.
reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and
other Members. 

If you have someone blocked and they are going around this feature, please
report to a bouncer or www.fubar.com/support. 

How do I block someone?

Go to the person's page that you want to block and look for BLOCK THIS USER.
Click on the BLOCK THIS USER link and approve the block. Blocking a member
prohibits them from messaging you, commenting on your page, bulletins, blogs,
stashes, mumms and blocks them from being able to rate your pictures or profile.

You can remove a block at any time in your account settings.

Where do I report inappropriate (NSFW) content?

fubar is a community regulated site. If you see NSFW photos, comments, stash
items, blogs, mumms or any NSFW material in a public area, please click on the
NSFW flag. If you can not locate the NSFW link, please report to a bouncer
(orange)here. 

Please do not abuse our NSFW flagging. Any malicious flagging will lead to your
account being suspended or deleted.

How do I report spammers?

Spamming should be reported by using the report as spam links on the site. If
you can not find them, send a message to fubar Support with the link to the
person spamming. Misusing this may result in your account being deleted.

How do I notify fubar of copyright infringement?

Please read our Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

How do I unblock someone after I have blocked them?

You can unblock a user by clicking on your blocked user list. Navigating to this
page will depend on what style page you are using. If you are using the Old &
Jenky or the , look for the blocked tab on the right side of your page. Open
your blocked users list and unblock whoever you need to unblock. 

What do I do if someone is using my pictures?

If somoene is using your photos on fubar, please report to a bouncer or
support@fubar.com. Please include links to the profile or material that is being
used. fubar may require an official Digital Millennium Copyright Act notice to

What is a Mumm?

You must be a level 5 or above to create a MuMM.

MuMMs (Make up My Mind) are polls which allow the fubar community to help you
make up your mind... just like asking a bartender at a bar a question!
Inappropriate content will be deleted.

What are the guidelines for posting a mumm?

MUMM stands for Make Up My Mind. It is designed to be a platform to allow you to
pose a question that has an A and B option. 

MUMMs are NOT designed to promote yourself or anyone else, gain points,
advertise an event or commercialized product, or promote racism, bigotry,
hatred, or physical harm against any group or individual. MUMMs must also NOT
contain inappropriate conduct, phone numbers and contact information, nudity,
violence, or offensive subject matter, nor can it provide links to adult
websites. 

Any use of PHOTOS or VIDEOS posted in the MUMMs must be appropriate and relevant
to that MUMM, or the MUMM will be deleted. 

fubar has the right in its sole discretion to delete a MUMM with or without
notice if it contains any of the above material and/or deems it inappropriate
content, and can thereby suspend your privileges of use for the feature for an
undisclosed amount of time.

How do I make a mumm?

Click on the "MuMMs" link under the "My" drop down menu at the top left of your
page or look for the "My MuMMs" tab at the center of your homepage. Next click
on the yellow "create a mumm" link and follow the prompts. You can select to
post global MUMMs (which are sent out to everyone site-wide), or friend MUMMs
which go out to everyone on your Friends list. ANY adult or inappropriate
content will be deleted. If you do decide to label your MUMM NSFW then you
better make sure it is legit. we will delete any MuMMs that break the rules.

Why do I get the message "You're not allowed to do this" when i post a mumm?

If your MUMM did not follow the guidelines and was deleted, you will
automatically lose your global MUMMing privileges.fubar Admin will not respond
to requests to reactivate your privileges, so please follow the guidelines.

What is Owned?

fu-Owned is a game where members are bought with fuBucks or credits and
considered owned by the buyer. The buyer is guaranteed to hold onto their new
purchase for at least 5 minutes. 

After 5 minutes, others may purchase the member out from under the owner at an
increased price. If purchased with fuBucks, after 14 days of being owned by the
same person, ownership will expire and the member's value will be reset and the
owned member will not be reimbursed. 


If the member is owned with credits, the owner will receive points equal to 10%
of the owned member's points. The points are awarded in real time and the owner
will receive a daily report with the points earned that day.


Every consecutive purchase will result in increased worth of the user being
bought. The number of members one can fu-Own will vary depending on what one's
user level is on fubar.




Owned Lockdown: You can now exclusively own a member for 24 hours in Owned. The
feature costs an additional 10 coins + whatever amount you own them for. Ex: I
own you for 5 coins and lock you down, it will cost 15 coins. I will still own
you for the 31 days but nobody else will be able to own you for 24 hours. ALSO,
the owned member will NOT be able to turn off their settings during the lockdown
period. You can also lock down a member at any time for 10 coins if you already
own them with coins. ***You cannot lockdown a member while purchasing them with
fuBucks***

What is the secret admirer game?

The Secret Admirer Game is a fun new way to try and connect with new people
on fubar!. There are two modes of play. 

In "Find people!" you are shown a series of member photos. Based on these
photos, you can decide if you would like to secretly admire this person or skip
on to the next one. 

In "Who admires me" you are shown a group of photos and you must correctly guess
which person is your admirer. If you run out of guesses, you may purchase more
with fuBucks one time per play. 

You may also chose to secretly admire someone by clicking the "Secretly Admire"
link underneath their profile photo. 

If you would like to not receive notifications when you're secretly admired or
matched. Turn on the "Filter Matches" setting on your privacy settings page.

The Battle of the Bands is fubar's own competition to find great new bands.  The
battle of the bands has both start up and well established bands that are always
competing for your votes!  All of the winners are determined by you!  Do you

How do I enter the Battle of the Bands?

You can fill out an application for the battle of the bands here.  The band
profiles are artifically made a higher level than a regular fubar profile, so we
need you to sign up with an email address that isn't connected to your primary
fubar account.  

What is a band salute?

Most people came to fubar because we are different than any place on the
internet. Since day one we pride ourselves on REAL people behind the profiles.
Let's face it, any old man or lady can pretend to be a young hottie and that is
kind of gross. The salute is your drivers license on fubar. It proves you are
real. It also humanizes your band. 

The salute is not very hard to do. This is the official How to make a salute

HGK was the first band to listen to me about salutes. They made this salute and
did a video broadcast and a member liked them so much she tattooed their band
name on her arm. 



How do I add songs to my band profile?

If you are a band trying to link more songs to your profile, log into your
profile. Go to your Account Settings and click on the Band Settings tab.
The Band Settings tab allows you to link new songs or edit, activate, deactive
and sort existing songs. 

Follow the steps below to link your music to your band player. 



If your music isn't uploading here are some things to check for.

Make sure your link isn't from a playlist or a homepage.

 - The YouTube link we are looking for should look something like
this youtube.com/watch?v=NaNaNaNaNaN

 - Anything more than that won't work in our system.

 - You can also use your reverbnation webpage link to add songs. Enter it into
the specified field and click save. If your songs duplicate, please delete the
duplicate songs.

Where is the Vote button for battle of the bands?

The vote button is for you to vote on the songs of the bands you like the best. 



Where is my invite link?

Your "fan invite" link is located on your Band Homepage when you log into your
profile. Use this link to invte your friends, family, fans or anyone. This link
tracks successfully completed "fan invites" and gives you credit for them.

Why does my fubar page display wrong in my browser?

fubar is stable when using the latest Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Fire
Fox browsers. If you are a Mac owner using Safari, please download the latest
Fire Fox or Google Chrome for the best results. fubar is not responsible for how
your system displays the site on your computer.

What browsers work best with fubar?

fubar supports firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome browsers. We can't help
each user upgrade their software, but we recommend that our users install the
latest browser software, Java and Flash for their computer and the latest
music/video player. 

What music players work with fubar?

Windows:
Quicktime and Windows Media Player

Macs:
Quicktime and Windows Media Player

Why does fubar run slow at times?

This could be because you have a slow bandwidth connection or your computer is
having trouble playing fubar sound alerts. You can turn your sound alerts off by
clicking on your profile and setting your Alert Sounds to OFF. 

If your computer is old or has limited memory, go to your profile page and set
"User Tooltips" to OFF. You can alos turn off animated .gifs in your settings. 

How do I clear my cache and browsing history?

This is often the root of many user issues. Check out this link for detailed
information on how to delete cookies in different browsers. This should be your
first step when having problems with fubar.com.

How do I change my password?

Your password can be changed by going to Settings. Click on the change password
button and follow the prompts for the change to take place. Please write it down
in a safe place. NEVER give out your password to anyone.

How do I recover my password?

You can recover your lost password by using our password recovery system. From
the login page, type in your signup email then hit the link to the right of the
login button that reads 'forgot password?' So long as you have entered a valid
email address, your password will be delivered successfully. Make sure that you
check your spam and bulk filters if it does not show up within a few minutes.

How do I change my email address?

Email address: Your email can be changed by going to your Home Page and clicking
on the "My" drop down menu and selecting 'Settings' on the top left hand side of
your page. From that page, enter your new email in the field for "signup email".
MAKE SURE you do NOT typo your new address. When you are done, scroll down to
the bottom of the page where you will be asked to enter a code (Bouncer ID
check) and click "submit" in order for your new settings to take place. Make
sure you write down your new log in email.

How do I verify my email address?

To verify your email, you need to go to your profile edit page located under the
'My' link on the gray header bar under 'Settings' and click on the verify email
link next to your signup email. An email from fubar will be generated to your
signup address account (ie-your Yahoo, AOL, Gmail account, etc) where you will
be prompted to follow the verification process. If you cannot find the email,
please be sure to check in your spam and bulk filters as the email can get
trapped in there. If you have trouble entering the token onto the verify email
page, please try it through a different browser as some browsers, dependent on
your system, do not take the verify token.

How do I change my personal information

Your personal information can be changed by going to your Home Page and clicking
on the "My" drop down menu and selecting "Settings" on the top left hand side of
your page. After you enter your new information, scroll down to the bottom of
the page where you will be asked to enter a code (Bouncer ID check) and click
"submit" in order for your new settings to take place.

What is Credit Card Authorization and why am I getting it?

We send members CCA and Paypal authorization forms when your purchases have
reached $400. The information we are requesting we already have on file. We use
the information you provide to confirm you are the card holder.

1. WE ARE NOT asking for credit card info.

2. If you use gift cards or prepaid cards, enter your info. We do not accept any
cards without a registered address.

3. If you use multiple cards, please note this in the CCA comments.

4. If you need to find where the form is http://www.fubar.com/cca.php. If you
cannot access it, you will need to wait until you hit the spending limit
threshold.

5. If you use paypal, please simply enter your paypal information.

How do I see what members around me are doing?

Setting your Zip Code activates your Local News tab on your News Feed. If you
have been here awhile, follow steps 1-3.

If you are a NEW user, start on step 3.

1. If you do not know how to find the fSB page, you can access it by going into
your Settings.

2. Set your  Page Homepage type: to fSB  - Click on the Blue fSB button. Click
on the Home to go back to your homepage. You might be a little disjointed at
first, because your page layout will look different.

3. Look at the upper right corner of the News Feed for the "My News Local News"
links. If you have not entered your zip code, it will prompt you to do so. Once
you enter your zip code, it will randomly display people from your area's
activity in your feed.



4. If you want to flip back to your old page style or try a new page style,
click on your Settings.

Where do I go if I want a refund?

We do not refund bling, Power Up Bling or any services. All sales are final.

1. After bling is purchased there are no refunds. There is not a numerical
amount or money value to any services fubar sells. You are purchasing tha

2. If you are expecting credit or a refund because you were suspended for

How do I delete my account?

It is your responsibility to delete your profile. Log in to your account and
click into your profile settings. You will see an option to delete in there. If
you are unable to delete because of your level. Please delete ALL info from your
profile, cancel your VIP in your profile settings and email
www.fubar.com/support and request to be deleted. If you are a VIP, we must wait
until your VIP runs out. We do this to ensure that no one compromises your
account and tries to delete it. If you are emailing support, make sure you send
the URL to your profile. 

What is fuMarriage and Divorce and how do I buy it?

fuMarriage gives you the ability to link yourself to another member in fubar.
Once you have proposed to the person you wish to marry (by clicking propose
fuMarriage on the link under their profile) and they have accepted, you are
allowed to purchase a fuMarriage. You can do so through the yellow link that
appears above your small Feed when you get engaged. A link to your spouse will
then show on your profile and a link to you will show on theirs.

You will get your very special wedding ring's bling that will display on both of
your profiles. This bling can only be gotten by becoming fuMarried. In addition
to this, you receive discounts on gift shop items. If you decide that you want
to end a fuMarriage, you can purchase a fuDivorce. 

What is a Happy Hour?

Happy Hours allow you to showcase yourself to all of fubar for one hour.  You
will get your profile picture and name in the top left corner of every page
on fubar for one hour.  Gifts will be discounted and you will get points for
every gift bought during your Happy Hour.  You will get a private message
telling you how many points you got and who leveled while your Happy Hour was
running.

Not receiving emails from fubar

There are a few things that you can check when you are not receiving emails from
fubar.  First of all, make sure your email address is correct, and that you have
your email notifications on in your account settings.  You can also see if your
email address is blacklisted in your account settings.  Your email will be added
for a few reasons; if the emails we send to you bounce and cannot reach your
inbox, or if you mark our emails as spam are a few.

You can have your email address removed from the blacklist by verifying your
email address in your account settings or writing a private message to fubar
support.

Also, make sure you add the following email addresses to your allowed list on
your email account:

hollidays@fubar.com
invites@fubar.com

This will cover all of the email addresses that we send information to you about
