ARE YOU A JUMU'AH MUSLIM? - ABU SUHAILAH 'UMAR QUINN

Unfortunately, this is the reality of many a Muslim!  He (may Allah guide them
all) only comes to the Masjid not just on the day of Jumu'ah, but only for the
Jumu'ah khutbah and salah.  As if, that is the only salah that has been
obligated upon him, to be prayed in the Masjid.

The following reminder was extracted from the khutbah titled: You're a Muslim,
Right! by Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

May Allah enable it to be a source of benefit for us all, Aameen!

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites

him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

COULD YOU BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR JAHILIYYAH! - ABU SUHAILAH 'UMAR QUINN

You think you came into Islam and all your sins have been wiped clean, so you
continue your Jaahil behaviour even after coming to Islam. That arrogant
behaviour still hasn't left you.  You never left it at the door of Islam. The
question is, could you be held accountable for that behaviour that you still
display today, even after leaving Jahiliyyah?

Have a listen to this enlightening piece of audio from Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn
(hafidhahullah Ta'ala) extracted from the khutbah titled: You're a Muslim,
Right!, and it may have an effect on your current behaviour.

STILL SUPPORTING OPPRESSION! - HAMZAH ABDUR-RAZZAQ

How many times have we seen someone being oppressed and chosen to ignore it?
"It's not my job!"  "I don't want to get involved."  "Maybe, they deserve
it!"  We make excuse after excuse to not do the "right thing"

If you are such an individual and choose to take this path of ignoring the
issue, then here is a short reminder from Hamzah Abdur-Razzaq (hafidhahullah
Ta'ala) taken from the khutbah he delivered on the 25th of February
2022 at Masjid ibn Baaz and posted on their official Spreaker account.  Where he
narrates a hadeeth of the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam).

Make sure you take note for the next time you see an individual or group of
individuals being oppressed.

This benefit has been digitally edited to clean up some of its excessive
background noise before being posted, walhamdulillah!

IS THE INNOVATOR WORSE THAN THE DISBELIEVER? -SHAYKH SAALEH AL-LUHAYDAAN

This is a question I believe that was asked of Shaykh Saaleh
al-Luhaydaan.(rahimahullah Ta'ala) at the end of a lesson from a series he
delivered in Riyadh for the Westerns on the explanation of Kitab at-Tawheed.
This particular lesson was translated by Mustafa George (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

The question was downloaded from a post on the X account attributed to our
shaykh.  I was then digitally edited, before being posted below, walhamdulillah.

He (rahimahullah Ta'ala) was asked:

Is the one who is the innovator, worse than the kafir (disbeliever)?

He (rahimahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer:

On the 8th of April 2019 at Masjid bin Baaz, in London,  a lecture
titled: Seeking Nearness to Allah was delivered by Abdulilah

Ta'ala) took questions from those present.

Here is one of those questions: What advice would you give someone who is
overcome watching movies and the like and he does not read Qur'an much.  How
does he overcome this?

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer:
