the imagination. Living up to the Mardi Gras legacy, this ship is all about fun
introducing Zones; six themed areas packed with brand new experiences. State
rooms and suites are full of all the mod cons and added luxuries, this is the
perfect cruise for those wanting to sample cruise ship “firsts” with new
innovations and range of activities for all ages and occasions.

If you’ve ever fancied riding a rollercoaster around an open-air course high
above sea level then now is your chance. Mardi Gras will introduce you to BOLT,
the fastest and first rollercoaster at sea! You’re in the driver’s seat and you
control how fast you go, take in the amazing 360 degree ocean views and whizz
around and dare yourself to go full speed ahead.

There are six themed zones hosting a range of shopping, activities and
entertainment for all, starting with the Grand Central zone, an atrium with a
difference. Floor to ceiling windows bring in the ocean views, enjoy a cup of
coffee, live music or an evening show. Dining spots like Bonsai Sushi and Bonsai
Teppanyaki are nearby, as is The Punchliner Comedy Club. The French Quarter is
lined with bars and eateries serving everything from small plates to classic
Hurricane cocktails straight from the bayou. New Orleans nightlife comes on
board with a hot jazz club and there’s more to be unveiled nearer the time to a
big fan fare. Summer Landing is the place to kick back and relax outdoors
featuring a Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse with freshly smoke favourites and cold
beer. The La Piazza zone stands for flavour featuring Italian favourite’s server
family style. Musicians roam the Piazza providing an authentic soundtrack;
explore the Mediterranean restaurants and bars whilst the sun goes down. The
Lido is a renowned part of any Carnival cruise and aboard the Mardi Gras this
poolside zone features even more delicious and fun ways to spend a day. Tons of
casual dining spots are found here, take in a Dive-In Movie, sample Guy’s Burger
Joint, the New England-inspired Seafood Shack and BlueIguana Cantina taco
