Australasia’s Processing and Packaging Expo is an exhibition that will truly
represent all sectors of the industry, including machinery, ancillary equipment,
materials and packaging, food processing and industry services. It will provide
a comprehensive range of all processing and packaging equipment and services
under one roof.

WHAT'S ON


EXHIBITION

APPEX 2024 will bring together more than 400 industry-leading exhibitors across
the 4-day event. The exhibition floor will be divided into four zones including;
Materials & Packaging, Packaging Machinery, IT & Services, and Processing &
Packaging Machinery.


NETWORKING

With a 50% larger floor plan than AUSPACK 2022, APPEX 2024 will have dedicated
zones for all sectors of the industry, as well as Networking Hubs and an APPEX
Show Restaurant, providing networking and entertainment opportunities.


SEMINAR SESSIONS

From Meat Industry Day to Women in Processing & Packaging, industry-led seminars
to live demonstrations, the APPEX 2024 schedule is to designed to bring all
sectors together.

MEAT INDUSTRY DAY

Held on Wednesday 13th March during APPEX, Meat Industry Day is an initiative
led by the Australian Meat Processor Corporation (AMPC) partnering with
the Australian Meat Industry Council (AMIC) and Meat & Livestock
Australia (MLA). Find out more here.


APPMA AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE

The APPMA Awards of Excellence is the national awards program for the Australian
packaging and processing industry, recognising excellence, innovation,
leadership and best practice.

WOMEN IN PROCESSING & PACKAGING EVENT

The inaugural APPEX Women in Processing & Packaging event will take place on
13th March at the MCEC, with NAWO CEO Louise Weine delivering the keynote:
Achieving gender balance in packaging & processing: Systemic change that works'.

The Australian Food & Grocery Council’s Trading Partner Forum (TPF) will partner
with Matthews Australasia to bring a new Retailer Engagement Hub to APPEX 2024.
The Retailer Engagement Hub will cover supply chain, labelling and coding,
including a 2D barcoding focus, with expert session speakers covering a variety

Calling all Engineering students, Education Day is designed to connect you with
the Australian processing & packaging industry to discover the potential career

RESULT GROUP'S
SUSTAINABILITY CORNER

Sustainability Corner on the Result Group stand, E030 will deliver an informed
and balanced approach to meeting the 2025 National Packaging Targets, the 2030
Food Waste Targets and the Federal Government mandatory packaging designs

FOOD INDUSTRY SOLUTION SERIES

The ‘Food Industry Solution Series’ is designed to showcase what’s available to
manufacturers interested in bringing manufacturing innovation into their
businesses to improve their competitiveness in the market. Hosted and curated by
Barry McGookin, speaker sessions will on Tuesday 12th and Thursday 14th of
