VECTR CENTER OPERATIONS UPDATE

The Georgia VECTR Center is open to the public for education, employment,
entrepreneurship and community support services. Patrons may schedule an
appointment prior to visiting the VECTR Center by calling (478) 218-3900 or
emailing info@gavectr.org.

The Georgia Department of Veterans Service (GDVS), a partner housed in the VECTR
Center, will be seeing individuals for VA and state benefits on an appointment
basis only. Please call (478) 218-3900 to make an appointment.

CONNECTING VETERANS TO CAREERS THROUGH EDUCATION AND TRAINING.



On behalf of the state of Georgia, we thank you for your service. We know that
transitioning from the military to the civilian sector can be challenging. We
know first-hand how difficult it is to translate military skills and experience
to find meaningful civilian jobs and household sustaining employment. We’re here
to help.

We can assist translating and understanding your military and civilian
transcripts in order to maximize any prior learning credit that possibly may
apply toward your program of study. We also offer accelerated training programs
in high demand careers at little to no cost if you are a Georgia resident, are
stationed in Georgia, or are transitioning military.

If you need help navigating the world of higher education we’re your point of
access to the state’s 28 public universities and 22 technical colleges, offering
some of the nation’s highest rated programs, which are all regionally accredited
and affordable.
