WENTWORTH NURSERY SCHOOL IS AN OUTSTANDING STATE MAINTAINED NURSERY SCHOOL
WITHIN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HACKNEY.

At Wentworth we focus on a child centred curriculum where every child matters
irrespective of background or need. We value all children and provide a hands on
curriculum, which motivates and challenges children where vocabulary and rich
learning experiences such as making fires, planting and growing vegetables, to
being exposed to rich and exciting text are at the heart of our curriculum.

We are a community of learners working in partnership with parents/carers,
colleagues, schools, Hackney Education and universities which all contribute to
children being motivated, confident, happy and thoughtful young people.

Wentworth was among our nearer nurseries when we moved just before the start of

We went to visit; the inside space was inspiring and my son couldn't wait to
play on the woodworking bench. They were making hot chocolate on a wood fire
outside and were pond dipping. I thought 'THIS is the place!'.
