The conference will address current topics and provide constructive dialogue on tax issues of relevance to Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans and their affiliates. Who Should Attend? All BCBS Plan tax and financial professional staff, including chief financial officers, controllers, tax and financial reporting staff, and external tax and financial advisors would benefit from attending. What Should I Wear? Attire for the program is business casual. Bring a sweater or light jacket as the temperature in the meeting rooms can vary. Who Should I Contact? CONTINUING EDUCATION ACCREDITATION BCBSA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org. __________________________ Program Level: Intermediate Delivery Method: Group-Live Field of Study: Taxes Attendees are eligible to earn up to 20 CPE credits. There are no prerequisites for this program. No advance preparation is required. Sponsored learning activities are measured by program length, with one 50-minute period equal to one CPE credit. One-half CPE credit increments (equal to 25 minutes) are permitted after the first credit has been earned in a learning activity. Please note that not all state boards have adopted this rule. Some participants may not be able to use one-half credit increments.
