All tutoring sessions at Stratssoc are customizable to your needs. Even for
group classes - At Stratssoc, group classes are capped at 4 students per class
to ensure the best quality!

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Stratssoc came from humble beginnings.

Starting out as just a small community where like-minded tutors came together to
assist the students at our school, we never thought Stratssoc would ever turn
into what it is today.



After seeing a massive surge in requests for IB/AP/ A-level tutoring and
university admissions counselling from students and parents all over the
country, it quickly grew to the point where we realized that our resources at
the time would be unable to accommodate all our students' needs. 



We knew that more could be done and more HAD to be done.

Fast forward to the summer of 2023, we have been fortunate enough to build an
elite team of 15+ mentors, each with unique strengths and skillsets to offer. As
founders of this special community, we are incredibly proud to officially
present Stratssoc to the world.

OUR VISION

At Stratssoc, we firmly believe that the best mentors are the ones that have
gone through the entire process themselves and strived whilst doing so. The
feeling of a mentor being able to relate and guide you from personal experience
just hits different.



Hence, we have made it our mission to provide our students with a team of
knowledgeable, professional and all-elite mentors that have gone through it all.
Our mentors know how straightforward academics and university applications can
be if you got the right STRATS. By teaching efficient ways to learn, we wish to
help avoid unnecessary workload and anxiety so our students can lead a
fulfilling high school life whilst also enjoying the taste of success. 

 

To achieve our goals, we have established an internationalized mentoring network
that comprises of tutors from elite universities in both the UK and the US.
Other than providing tailored lesson plans to meet specific needs, every student
at Stratssoc also has a personalized account where they can find concise
revision materials and practice questions that have been compiled according to
their needs. Our mentors for various admission tests and our university
admissions counselling team are also here to help during university application
season. 

THE CREW

Amy is currently studying Medical Biosciences with Management at Imperial
College London. As one of the founding members of Stratssoc, she is excited to
share more of her experiences and reflections with IB students. She is the
creator of biology course materials on the site and holds online guidance
specifically for students who are applying to Biomed in the UK.



In her spare time, Amy likes to read, write, paint, and organize events. One of
her proudest achievements is to have published a children illustration book for
charity events. She will be able to guide students in incorporating their
hobbies into their extracurricular activities and eventually present themselves
as a competent applicant for universities. 



Tyrone is currently a medical student on a 6-year degree at the University of
St. Andrews / the University of Edinburgh. As one of the founders of Stratssoc,
he is incredibly enthusiastic about passing on the knowledge and experience that
he has accumulated throughout his experience as an IB student and a med school
applicant.



Outside of medicine, Tyrone enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities and sports.
He firmly believes that having a good work-life balance is crucial to
maintaining optimal efficiency and a healthy lifestyle. As the main provider of
uni/med school application consults, he holds a very positive outlook on the
future of Stratssoc and the achievements of its students.

To the parents that are new to the Stratssoc family: Welcome to our website. We
are here to help.

To the parents that are already part of the Stratssoc family: Thank you so much
for choosing to support Stratssoc.



We realize the tremendous amount of pressure that parents feel when their child
attends a non-mainstream program. Our parents have all been there at one point
and yes, they rage under stress too. Looking back, it's a sign that they care.
And we're sure that you do too.



At Stratssoc, we believe that it is just as important to recognize the
curiosities and inquiries of parents. 

 

To learn more about IB/AP/A-levels, please do not hesitate to send us a message.
We'll be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.To learn about
your child's progress, please note that monthly updates can be found in their
personal Stratssoc account. In this account, your child can find subtitled
recordings of their sessions along with supplementary resources. To get a taste
