ONE MONTH. ONE GOAL. FIGHT KIDS' CANCER.

This September, we're riding to end childhood cancer and save little lives.

Every hill we climb and every mile we pedal will be to honour those lives we've
lost and stand with those brave kids still fighting to survive. These kids won't
give up, and neither will we.

Our goal is to fund life-saving research to develop safer and more effective
treatments, and find cures for all childhood cancers.

Because kids should be living life, NOT fighting for it.

Riding the Dillon Reservoir Trail today. Since I had two jobs scheduled in
Breckenridge today, and two more estimates to do on the way back, Allyson and I
decided it's safer to stay overnight at the Summit Inn in Frisco, and drive back
in the morning.
And, ya know, you have to take advantage of great bike trails (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧

So, with today's 20.6 miles, I have officially cleared my goal of 200 miles
ridden for the 2024 Great Cycle Challenge USA ᕙ⁠(⁠ ⁠~⁠ ⁠.⁠ ⁠~⁠ ⁠)⁠ᕗ
I am so incredibly thankful to everyone who has chipped in this year to help me
reach my goals, and it is proof positive that we WILL one day

We did it. Thank you to my sister Brenda for helping me reach my monetary goal.
I am deeply honored to ride and raise money for a cause I believe in. Thank you
for your support and encouragement. I'm already looking forward to next year. My
hero jersey is going to one of the kids with cancer. I'll be joining a team next
year to have team support. This is definitely a group of dedicated riders and
believers. We all do it for the kids fighting this awful disease.

Since so many people put two colors I just added all the choices(yes
denisenmikeconnors I took both your votes) and between Instagram and Facebook
the total votes for each color are listed next to each heart. Pink & Yellow were
the top vote getters. So on the hand, thumb pointer and pinky will be pink, and
middle & ring fingers will be yellow. On the toes, went to market, stayed home
and went wee, wee, wee all the way home, will be pink and had roast beef & had
none will be yellow! Thank you again to all of you for making this my most

A month of rides brought to you by a slew of meds, stretches and Salonpas.

33 in for the final day of September along the Brown’s Creek State Trail and the
Gateway State in MN.

Started at 59 and warmed to 85 by lunchtime. Autumn and Summer all in one day.
THANK YOU to all who helped raise funds to help kick childhood cancer to the
curb and for all the support you’ve given me on my rides.
Special shoutout to my pal wendy_artman_pottery who has been incredible this
month on her fixie getting on her miles and raising big bucks for cancer
research.
