A LEGEND IS REBORN.

HELP US STEAM THE 4!

IN THE BACK WOODS OF WEST VIRGINIA A LEGENDARY LOCOMOTIVE THAT ONCE DELIGHTED
AND INSPIRED THOUSANDS OF TRAIN LOVERS THROUGHOUT THE EAST HAS RETURNED HOME TO
BE GIVEN A NEW LIFE AT CASS, WV OPERATING ON THE BEAUTIFUL “C&O GREENBRIER
SUBDIVISION” BETWEEN CASS AND DURBIN.

Donate

To complete the restoration of BC&G 4, a new boiler must be fabricated. The
original, nearly 100-year, boiler has suffered from poor water and upkeep
throughout the locomotives career and is unusable. We are happy to announce that
a contract has been awarded to Sistersville Tank Works of Sistersville, WV.

When the new boiler is completed and installed, BC&G #4 will have a bright
future and will be able to operate for generations to come!
