WHAT IS NEROSHIELD MADE FROM?

A proprietary mix of compounds designed to retard and impart fire. Our
ingredients are different than those traditionally used in the market today.

WILL MY INSURANCE COMPANY RECOGNIZE NEROSHIELD AS AN ACCEPTABLE SUBSTITUTE FOR
MONOKOTE AND OR INTUMESCENT PAINT?

Yes, as long as the application provides the proper burn rate coverage.
NeroShieldis capable of meeting and exceeding the values offered by both
Monokote and intumescent paint, and at a significant savings to both the
customer and the environment.

DOES THE APPLICATION OF NEROSHIELD HAVE A DEFINED FUNCTIONAL LIFE, OR IS IT A
ONE-TIME, LIFETIME APPLICATION?

Lumber/Gypsum/Steel: Majority of applications are done on interior treated
surfaces and/or enclosed spaces for building materials. These are traditionally
one-time applications. Textiles: Dependent on application and use. If it issued
on a material/substrate not under heavy traffic or washing requirements
(curtains, decorations, display walls, tents, etc...) one time application
should be sufficient. However, reapplication on specific materials can be
performed with great efficacy. Paper/Plastics – we usually work with customers
at the manufacturing level and through the extrusion processes, therefore it
becomes a part of the material and should not require reapplication. Please
note, Neroshield has been used for extrusion applications in PVC and cable
casing and can be used as a substitute material for Antimony Trioxide wherever
deemed fit

WHEN A FIRE BREAKS OUT, WILL THE CHEMICALS IN NEROSHIELD DISCHARGE ANY HARMFUL
FUMES OR GASES?

No, Neroshield is non-toxic and has low VOC content.

WHICH INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODES IS NEROSHIELD APPROVED FOR USE UNDER?

Currently NeroShield is approved under the following and continues to gain
additional certifications:2018, 2015, 2012 International Building Code® Section
104.11, 3102.1, 410.3.6, 803.1.1, and 803.1.22018, 2015, 2012 International
Residential Code® Section R104.11 and R302.9NFPA 101 Section 12.4.5.11.12015
National Building Code of Canada® Section V1,DB, Section 3.1.12FRTW Alternative
Consideration2018 International Building Code® Section 2303.22018 International
Residential Code® SectionR802.1.5NFPA 241, Standard for Safeguarding
Construction, Alteration, and Demolition Operations We are in process of
receiving a design listing from ICC based on our performance on assembly tests
in the past under ASTM E-119 and NFPA 285 standard testing requirements under
multiple chapters and sections of 2018, 2015, 2012 International Building Code®
We are completing new testing (which is currently underway) as a thermal barrier
alternative for spray foam insulation. We hope to have test results complete
before end of Q1 2023 which will open us up to:2018, 2015, 2012 International
Building Code® Section 2603.4, 2603.5, and 2603.92018, 2015, 2012 International
