FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE

Bought their system 3 cameras work one doesnt electrician has tried and tried
but its faulty. Get tied up for hours talking to tech support in USA who
ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT entertain prospect of replacing camera. We are stuck with a
malfunctioning system. I would advise buy from 3 rd party so you can just return
it. To be fair the three cameras that work are ok but paid for 4. Talking to
lorex directly takes hours and will get you no where.

BATTERY LIFE IS TERRIBLE

The system itself does the job. The problem we have is the battery life. I’m
charging the four camera batteries every 3-4 weeks NOT MONTHS. So don’t buy into
the battery life sales pitch. I did call and the gentleman confirmed my software
was the latest version.
I wish I had bought it from Costco and not Lorex as I could’ve returned it.

HAD LOREX FOR OVER 5 YEARS

Had Lorex for over 5 years, I view the 8 cameras at our cottage and home
remotely from anywhere in the world.

When I needed information regarding some camera functions the help line people
were very helpful.

Good value at a very good price for quality security cameras.

AMAZING! 🤩 LOREX 2K PAN-TILT INDOOR…

We bought Lorex 2K Pan-Tilt Indoor Wi-Fi Security Camera
W462AQD-EG and this is the best camera without subscription, only one minus is
sometimes where i try to see the live view i need to close application and open
again then the live view is working, motion sensor is a little bit too slow but
its working, night mode is perfect, amazing item just for £40 😍

FANTASTIC SUPPORT

After many hours of trying to find a way to factory reset an older NVR setup, I
finally called Lorex support for assistance. The tech support person was really
helpful and managed to enable a temporary password so I could reset the system.
I really thought the box was going to landfill but with the password reset
process I was up and running again in 15 minutes. Outstanding.

I FORGOT MY ADMIN CODE

I was having difficulties with my Lorex Camera system. It was a gift. What a
gift. I spoke with a many from Lorex who was patient gracious and very
knowledgeable. Not sure of his name, but it was Case #643730
The greatest service. Cameras are excellent quality and so is service.

PORT #8 ON MY 4K DVR CHOSE NOT…

The last open Port on my 4K DVR chose not to function Properly once I decided to
Install my last 2 cameras, after about a year of Service. I fully expected to
have to return it or worse yet, purchase a new DVR. The CSR Lady that assisted
me was excellent. Tedious at first, but we worked thru the process until my
system was fully functional. I appreciate the assistance!

VERY GOOD INSTALLATION SUPPORT

I have set up many, many IP based security systems but this one wasn't going
well. Reluctantly I called tech support. The technician clearly had been through
some difficult technical support issues previously and didn't get flustered. We
tried several scenarios to enable WiFi communications between my phone and the
doorbell and he suggested "forgetting" the 2.4 GHz network on my Android phone
and after that tip, the installation went smoothly. All is well post
installation and I'm happy with the product & support.

WILL NOT HONOR WARRANTY

Lorex Technology has hired poor customer service representatives. I am highly
technical. I spent 3 hours root causing a 3-week old camera of theirs. It is
bad. It's under a 1-year warranty. They wasted 45 minutes on the phone with me
to keep asking me the same information over and over. It is obvious they are
resistant to honoring the warranty. They need to step up.

I DON’T RECOMMEND TO BUY

Very disappointed I purchased two systems for my businesses + 4 Wiif cameras we
had some issues with it to record on HHD and one of WI FI cameras not working
for over 2 months. didn’t last for one year , I contacted the support team
couldn’t fix it and couldn’t replace it

EXCELLENT SERVICE

her friendly and helpful attitude was wonderful.

she was able to help me when i had been struggling with finding a place to
reinstall my lorex cloud software.

she walked me through every step to accomplish what i needed.

LOREX WIRELESS MODEL # LNWCX-C

I have been a customer of Lorex since 2019 and have not had any issues since we
purchased and set it up.
Wireless Model # LNWCX-C
We have recently moved and had to reset camera and had to get tech services
involved which wound up being an ID and password issue.

THE TECH SERVICE AGENT WAS SUPER AND HAD THE PATIENTS OF A SAINT.

Your tech service agent was a super patient person. I guess she could tell that
I was not a technological genius. She would tell me the technical terms and,
when I didn't understand, she would explain it to me so I did. Not only did she
fix the problem that I called about but, she made some adjustments that has
given me a sharper picture. I was very frustrated with the problem that I called
about but, within minutes, she made me a "happy camper".

ISSUE VIEWING MY CAMERAS ON MOBILE PHONE

I had an issue viewing my cameras on my mobile phone and the agent helped me out
and it didn't take hours. My matter was resolved within 15 minutes. She was
friendly and patient (I don't know a lot about technical stuff).

TECHNICIAN OLIVER HELPED ME TO RECONNECT MY DESKTOP WITH INTERNET CONNECTION. HE
NAVIGATED ME THROUGH THE SYSTEM IN VERY SHORT TIME.

Technician Oliver helped me troubleshoot the system and resolved the loss of net
connection in about 15 to 20 minutes.
I truly appreciate his patience and expertise. He's highly competent.

IPHONE 15 PRO MAX CONNECTION ISSUE

Wait time was minimal. Auto selection options could be more clearly stated and
slowed down a bit.
Troubleshooting was thorough and resolved the issue by deleting the Cirrus app
and reinstalling it. Francine was pleasant and knowledgeable.

NEVER BUY

Purchased an open box set up from Lorex.com that included the cameras and DVR on
2/3/2023 while we were building our house so that we could easily run the cables
during framing. House was finally done enough to hook everything up for the 1st
time 3/6/2024. Cameras work great but system states there's no hard drive.
Troubleshooted with Lorex customer service and they stated possibly the whole
dvr needs replaced but I could try just replacing the hard drive 1st. They would
not replace it or stand behind it at all since it's been over a year since
purchased. So frustrating that they resell nonworking systems!!!
