When I did the first image backup it made a windows image backup folder. I
didn't see an option to schedule it for future use.

When I did the second backup (where I could pick the files) it allowed my to
schedule it and it made a backup set folder with backup files 1 to 240 in it.

Is the second backup really a disc image backup, if not how do I schedule a disc
image backup?

Thanks in advance!

Hi ocman,

Do yourself a huge favour and use a different imaging solution. Windows built in
imaging is so poorly designed and lacking in features it's truly not worth using
IMO.

I'd suggest using something like Macrium Reflect Free. Reflect 8 Free is not
crippleware and works perfectly.

An excellent walkthrough on using it is available at the following link.

https://www.sysnative.com/forums/threads/using-macrium-free-to-backup-or-image-your-drives.32522/

Hope that's helpful.

Regards, Andrew
