Our team has decades of experience in supporting LGBT+ people who are victims of
domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, so-called conversion therapies,
honour-based abuse, forced marriage, and other forms of abuse.


CALL OUR LGBT+ ABUSE AND VIOLENCE HELPLINE

Our helpline is open to anyone LGBT+ in the UK, as well as friends, family
members, and professionals who may be concerned about an LGBT+ person who is
facing abuse.



GET SUPPORT

You can refer yourself into our services, or you can refer someone to us if you
are a professional working with someone who might need our help.



ONLINE COMMUNITY

Join our Domestic Abuse Survivors Forum to share your story and support other
LGBT+ survivors of domestic abuse, from anywhere in the UK.

GALOP’S STATEMENT IN RESPONSE TO THE GOVERNMENT’S PLANS TO “HALT THE MARCH OF
GENDER-NEUTRAL TOILETS”

It’s vital the Government stops framing trans rights and women’s rights as being
in opposition, and instead makes it a priority to ensure that every person is
afforded equal protection from abuse and violence.



GALOP’S STATEMENT ON THE ATTEMPTED MURDER OF A TRANS TEENAGE GIRL

Our thoughts are with the victim as she recovers from this violent attack, and
every other trans+ person who feels unsafe.



GALOP’S STATEMENT ON THE NON-STATUTORY TRANS SCHOOLS GUIDANCE

We urge officials and Ministers overseeing these proposals to recognise the
likelihood of harm they could cause and ensure the final version of the guidance
prioritises the safety of children and young people.
