mitigate flood attacks such as ICMP Flood, SYN Flood, UDP Flood, as well as
session attacks on web resources and applications.
How does DDoS protection work?
Protection against DDoS attacks at L3-4, L7 OSI is based on a proprietary
geo-distributed DDoS-Guard scrubbing network with large bandwidth capacity and
high-performance computing resources. DDoS-Guard scrubbing nodes are located in
major datacenters in Europe, USA, South America and Asia. All incoming traffic
is analyzed to identify anomalies and suspicious activity. This way, malicious
packets and requests are dropped, and legitimate ones are accepted.
What affects the price of DDoS protection?
The cost depends on traffic and network bandwidth, protection level and type of
DDoS attacks the defense will mitigate, the location of scrubbing centers, SLA
