<p><span style="font-size: 16px">Your organisation has recently entered into (or it is proposed that your organisation will shortly enter into) Standard Contractual Clauses (or another relevant transfer tool) with Yahoo. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16px">The SCCs (or other relevant transfer tool) are required because your organisation will:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 16px">host or otherwise processes personal data that Yahoo shares with (or otherwise makes available to) your organisation (“<strong>Yahoo personal data</strong>”); and</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 16px">that hosting or other processing will take place in a country that is not considered to provide an adequate level of data protection (such country being a “<strong>Third Country</strong>” and the transfer
of Yahoo personal data being a “<strong>Restricted Transfer</strong>”).</span></li>

<p><span style="font-size: 16px">It is a requirement of European data protection laws that an assessment of the SCCs (or other relevant transfer tool) must be performed to ensure that the SCCs are effective (“<strong>Restricted Transfer
Assessment</strong>”). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16px">The Restricted Transfer Assessment</span><span style="font-size: 16px"> needs to consider whether there is anything in the law and/or practices in force of the Third Country that may impact the effectiveness
of the SCCs, taking into account all relevant circumstances of the Restricted Transfer.</span></p>

YAHOO RESTRICTED TRANSFER QUESTIONNAIRE Background Your organisation has recently entered into (or it is proposed that your organisation will shortly enter into) Standard Contractual Clauses (or another relevant transfer tool) with Yahoo. The SCCs (or other relevant transfer tool) are required because your organisation will: * host or otherwise processes personal data that Yahoo shares with (or otherwise makes available to) your organisation (“Yahoo personal data”); and * that hosting or other processing will take place in a country that is not considered to provide an adequate level of data protection (such country being a “Third Country” and the transfer of Yahoo personal data being a “Restricted Transfer”). It is a requirement of European data protection laws that an assessment of the SCCs (or other relevant transfer tool) must be performed to ensure that the SCCs are effective (“Restricted Transfer Assessment”). The Restricted Transfer Assessment needs to consider whether there is anything in the law and/or practices in force of the Third Country that may impact the effectiveness of the SCCs, taking into account all relevant circumstances of the Restricted Transfer. Instruction Yahoo requires you, on behalf of the organisation that you represent, to complete this questionnaire. This questionnaire is intended to assist your organisation and Yahoo in complying with obligations under European data protection laws to undertake a Restricted Transfer Assessment. Please therefore ensure that the answers that you provide are accurate and comprehensive and (unless specifically requested) avoid providing links to external resources.
