Made with Xara WELCOME TO THE HEART OF THE YUKON, CANADA A PLACE FOR NATURE AND ANIMAL LOVERS! Our Farm is accessible by road and located on the North side of the Pelly River, 15km upstream from the Town of Faro. The area is part of the traditional territory of the Kaska First Nation. We offer accommodation in 2 cosy log-cabins and serve breakfast and dinner upon request. The Farm is off-the-grid, heated with wood, and we produce our own vegetables and eggs. Our companions include 7 dogs and 3 horses. Since we do not have neighbours our animals are not fenced in. They are very friendly and love to visit with guests! Several trails, starting right at the Farm, lead you to scenic viewpoints or into the riparian forest. Bird and wildlife watching are outstanding. In the winter, we groom 20km of cross-country ski trails, which our guests are welcome to use. We are situated at the trail-head of the Dena Cho Trail, a historic trail that will take you all the way to Ross River. SPECIAL EVENTS We periodically offer getaways which include free activities such as bird and wildlife watching, interpretive walks or forest-walks with a focus on mindfulness.
