WHAT'S NEW

NORTHERN GAZA HOSPITAL DELIVERS LIFE-SAVING CARE WITH MAP’S SUPPORT AMID
SYSTEMATIC ATTACKS

The Patient’s Friends Benevolent Society Hospital (PFBS) in Gaza City has
delivered crucial healthcare services across departments such as emergency,
obstetrics, gynaecology, and surgery for over four decades. Since the Israeli
military began systematically dismantling Gaza’s health system in October 2023,
PFBS has played a  critical role in providing life-saving care to Palestinians,
supported by MAP.

MAP SUPPORTS WEST BANK HEALTHCARE WORKERS WITH ADVANCED BREAST CANCER TRAINING
IN JORDAN

In September, MAP sent two healthcare professionals from the breast unit it
supports at Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, to Jordan for advanced training at the
King Hussein Cancer Centre.

VOICES FROM JENIN: THE UNTOLD STORIES

Two months ago, on 28 August, the Israeli military launched its largest military
invasion of the occupied West Bank in decades. The cities of Jenin, Nablus,
Tubas, and Tulkarem were targeted. We spoke to three residents from Jenin and
the refugee camp about their experiences.
