Ex-diplomat turned Software Engineer gone Founder.
I build projects, take products to market, teach coding, and throw summer camps
for founders.
Okay, and the ocasional themed party.



WHO'S JULES?

Not-so-secretly

I was a Panamanian diplomat when I realized I could 10x my impact through
technology. I did a coding bootcamp in Berlin, became a political tech engineer,
transitioned into crypto DevRel, and have since launched 3 companies.


Secretly

I'll hop on a plane faster than you can spell the destination. I drink too much
yerba mate. I will choose hot yoga over most plans - except maybe live music. I
love a side hustle. Writing and coding are how I create leverage.



Originally from Panama, I now live in Miami, FL.
You find me in cute coffee shops, hot yoga studios, parks or wine bars.

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

JavaScript, smart contracts, DevOps - I lead Engineering teams to production.
I've developed products serving 300k+ users, shipped smart contracts with $1M+
in TVL, and always architect scalable software.

I nurture developer communities, design sticky developer experiences, manage
DevRel teams, launch go-to-market campaigns, perform DX diagnostics research,
and technical workshops.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Certified in Agile and DevOps, I manage product teams to production. I help them
increase velocity through a focus on culture, Scrum rituals, and mutual
accountability.

What kind of consulting do you do?


I specialize in three main areas: software development, technical education
design, and go-to-market strategy for developer tools.

My sweet spot is working with teams that need someone who understands both the
technical architecture and business strategy, especially when it comes to crypto
products or developer-focused tools. I help entrepreneurs scope, architect, and
scale their engineering teams. I diagnose and design developer experiences,
educational curriculums, and go-to-market strategies. I thrive in Notion
dashboards, Jira/Linear, and the entire JS stack.

We schedule an introductory call. We scope the requirements and I send over a
proposal with a timeline, scoped phased work, and budget. And we kick the magic
off!

I primarily work remotely but am open to traveling for specific projects,
speaking engagements, or workshops that align with my expertise.

Having that said - I've lived as a digital nomad for 7+ years and worked in
countries on every continent, so I hold valuable relationships around the world.

Do you still teach?


While I've moved on from teaching full-time at Le Wagon, teaching is still my
favorite part of my job.

I now focus on creating scalable technical education programs, particularly
within the blockchain space. However, my experience teaching 200+ students
across six countries informs how I approach developer education and
documentation in my current projects and I'm always happy to upskill smaller
teams to excellence. Let's chat!
