into a Scam Free Year! When you get a text saying there is a bank
alert-Sometimes the message might actually say your bank name but generally it
is the wrong bank. Delete. Next Ask yourself- Have I set up any alerts from my
bank? and if the answer is no, then again, Delete. Maybe you have set up some
kind of alerts about low balance or card activity to send notices to your phone.
Those do not come with a link- Call Your Bank, with a number you know to be

in this news article and there's also instances where cards are fully removed

(that is public record on your loan) to try and convince you to purchase some
insurance that you do not need. In fine print, the post cards state "All

going around that try to get you to sign up for services or products that you do
