STAFF SOFTWARE ENGINEER

health plans, life science companies, and digital health companies to innovate
and transform the care-delivery process for both care teams and patients. Our

Celeste's approach includes developing an AI-enabled platform to assist
healthcare providers in managing complex care needs. This platform also
digitizes clinical and administrative workflows, integrating technology to
streamline processes in healthcare delivery. Our goal? We aim to enable simpler
navigation of complex care delivery for patients and clinicians.





POSITION OVERVIEW:

Celeste is seeking a passionate Full Stack Software Engineer with a minimum of
8+ years of experience to join our small, dynamic team. As we pioneer precision
medicine in medication management, your expertise will contribute to creating
innovative solutions that drive positive health outcomes.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 * Collaborate closely with our product team as an engineering partner to
   understand project requirements, make informed decisions, and translate the
   work into robust technical solutions.
 * Develop, test, and deploy scalable and user-friendly web applications that
   align with Celeste's vision.
 * Bring expertise in architecting and building out systems across the entire
   web stack.
 * Work collaboratively with the engineering team to deliver a high quality
   product to our users.
 * Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to
   continuously enhance our web applications.
 * Actively participate in code reviews, providing valuable insights to improve
   the overall development process.
 * Take on a variety of responsibilities and projects with a can-do attitude.





QUALIFICATIONS:

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related
   field.
 * Minimum of 8+ years of proven experience delivering software as a Full Stack
   Software Engineer or in a similar role.
 * Proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
   and expertise in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
 * Experience with server-side languages such as Python, Node.js, or Ruby, along
   with familiarity with web application frameworks.
 * Experience with leading other engineers in organizing and delivering projects
   to the stakeholders’ satisfaction
 * Knowledge of database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL).
 * Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
 * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part
   of a collaborative team.
 * Experience working with EHR/EMR integration
 * US-based, full remote possible (Our team sits in LA)





NICE TO HAVE:

 * Recent experience in setting up and working with front-end frameworks.
 * Previous contributions to relevant projects or applications in the healthcare
   or precision medicine domain.
 * Experience with generative AI and LLMs
