I think once the hotel has finished renervations it would be nice but the room we stayed in was not renervated and clearly needed it. I was even treated to the sounds of people having sex on my first night. The hotel is a little run down and everything could do with a really good clean, walls were scuffed and wall paper peeling off, sheets had small marks and stains. Liked the location of the hotel. Taxi stand, bus stand and metro were easily accessible, within a short walk from the hotel. The staff were nice and friendly. Gave fresh towels and water bottles daily. We booked the basic room but it was too small for a comfortable stay. Basic room is just okay if you are staying for only a night. We got upgraded to a slightly better room, just a tad bigger. AC controls were not in the room, we had to call the reception to change the temperature or turn it on/off each time. Liked the location of the hotel. Taxi stand, bus stand and metro were easily accessible, within a short walk from the hotel. The staff were nice and friendly. Gave fresh towels and water bottles daily. We booked the basic room but it was too small for a comfortable stay. Basic room is just okay if you are staying for only a night. We got upgraded to a slightly better room, just a tad bigger. AC controls were not in the room, we had to call the reception to change the temperature or turn it on/off each time. Easy access to mrt n shopping. Many restaurants and hawkerfood available... Within walking distance or short bus trip. Good wifi connections. Sad that Leo Cafe and Restaurant is PERMANENTLY closed... Nice cosy place and great food on the 2nd floor. Take note that there is no access to the rooftop although there is a button in the lift that say ROOFTOP. Toilet sink is very dirty on the inside edges. Have highlighted to the staff about it. There is no place to hang your clothes in the bathroom n no proper place to place your soap, shampoo n conditioner in the shower.
