SINGIN' FOR A REASON

Welcome to the Official Event & Donation Page for the Annual "Singin' For A
Reason" benefit concert Presented by Shorsey Wright Records, LLC, and Sponsored
by SpiiderGriip®. This Annual Charitable Music Event is hosted by Recording
Artist David Britt, and benefits The Children's Brain Tumor Network (CBTN) at
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

 The Reason We Are Singin':

This special music event was inspired by, and is in honor of, Holmes Desmelik, a
brave young man who has been battling an inoperable brain tumor since he was a
little boy, and is a patient at (CHOP), The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Holmes' parents are close friends of mine. I love this family very much and want
to do everything in my power to help Holmes, along with the many other children
and families facing cancer. 

The money raised from this event goes to an area of CHOP called The Children's
Brain Tumor Network, also known as the (CBTN), which is a collaborative
multi-institutional cooperative research program dedicated to the study of
childhood brain tumors. The ultimate goal of the CBTN is to improve outcomes for
children with brain tumors by supporting research on new prognostic biomarkers
and therapies. It consists of 4 primary member institutions: Children's Hospital
of Philadelphia (the #1 pediatric hospital in the United States), Seattle
Children's, The Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, and Ann & Robert H. Lurie
Children's Hospital of Chicago. CHOP works as the Operations Center for the
CBTN.

I hope that you will join me in helping to raise money for this amazing
organization, and give HOPE to Holmes, his family, and to the thousands of other
children and families facing cancer. Every dollar goes directly to The
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
