HOW FOREIGNERS CAN JOIN THE FOREIGN LEGION OF TERRITORIAL DEFENSE OF UKRAINE


STEP 1

Contact the Embassy of Ukraine in your country, indicating your intention to
join the Legion. You need a military diplomat or consul.

You can contact in three ways: 

 * personal visit to the Embassy

 * phone call

 * write an e-mail


STEP 2

 * Prepare documents: 

 * ID-card or passport

 * international passport

 * proof of military service or participation in military actions

 * other documents, as requested by the Embassy


STEP 3

Come to the Embassy with documents for an interview with the Defense Attaché and
to settle visa issues with the Consul.


STEP 4

Write an application to join the Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Defense Attaché will help.


STEP 5

Get instructions on arriving in Ukraine, the necessary documents and equipment.
You may need a military uniform, helmet, body armor, etc.


STEP 6

Travel to Ukraine in the way discussed at the meeting. Representatives of the
Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate will assist with the departure and provide the
necessary contacts.


STEP 7

In Ukraine, at the collection point, join the Foreign Legion of Territorial
Defense of Ukraine, sign a contract and help protect civilians from invaders.
