BLW / Toddler Dinner - Mini Cottage Pies ❤️



A great little batch cook to make for kids, cooking them in a large silicone
muffin tray makes them perfect portion sizes for little ones and the leftovers
can be frozen and pulled out when needed. 

I always make my cottage pie mixture
in my slow cooker because it’s so much easier, I put mine on high for 4 hours
and then assemble before going into the oven. 



🍠 I use a mixture of both sweet potato and regular potatoes, but you can of
course just use one or the other. 



250g beef mince

1 red onion, diced

1 large carrot, chopped

5-6 mushrooms, chopped

2 TBSP tomato purée 

1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce

1 TSP lazy garlic/garlic purée 

Cracked black pepper

1 TSP thyme 

250ml low salt beef stock

1 bay leaf

Large handful of peas

+ mash potato of your choice and grated cheese for
topping.

Cook at 180c for 25 minutes once assembled ❤️ 



A silicone tray like this works best for these. Once frozen they easily pop out.

BLW / Toddler Breakfast - Banana Eggy Bread 🍌

This has been one of my favourite breakfasts to make since starting baby led
weaning with my eldest 5 years ago!

🍓 We serve ours with fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt

👶🏼 suitable from 6 months +

🍌 In a bowl add 1 banana, 1 egg, splash of milk and a pinch of cinnamon into a
bowl and mash with a fork until well combined. Dip 1 piece of bread into the
mixture on both sides and allow to soak the mixture up. In a frying pan, add a
little oil/butter and heat over a low heat. Fry each side for 1-2 minutes until
the egg has cooked

Does your little one love pizza!? Make this healthy version of pizza using sweet
potato. All you need is sweet potatoes and self raising flour to make a hidden
veg pizza dough which is soft and airy! They taste sooo delicious!

Ingredients: Makes 8/9

2 medium sweet potatoes (steamed)
185g self raising flour
1.5tsp tomato paste
Handful of cheese

Method

Method:

Steam or boil your sweet potato until soft, if boiling ensure the water is
drained well.

Add your sweet potato to a bowl and mash, then add your flour and mix until you
get a dough, I find using your hands is easiest!

Split the dough into 5 equal balls and flatten onto a baking sheet in a circular
shape. Mix 1.5tbsp of tomato paste with 1/2 tbsp of water and equally spoon in
the middle of the pizzas and spread out slightly. I add a little oregano to my
pizza sauce!

Top with grated cheese and any other toppings your child likes! Bake at 180c for
15-17 mins until the cheese starts to slightly brown.

Enjoy!

❄️ Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 1/2 days or freeze up to 3
months!

This recipe is great for an easy lunch packed with protein. You can easily sneak
spinach in them too like I did for an iron hit! Koa loves these as baked beans
are his favourite!

Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 220g tin of reduced sugar and salt baked beans
- Handful of cheese
- *optional* handful chopped spinach or you could do cooked chopped broccoli!*

**Seasoning, salt & pepper (omit salt for under 1s)

Crack your eggs into a bowl with your beans in, add in your cheese and veggies
if using and whisk up. Pour into muffin cases and bake for 20-25 mins at 200
degrees.

If you hate standing there flipping
pancakes in the morning this recipe is for you! Refined sugar free and only 3
basic ingredients this baked pancake bites recipe takes minutes to whisk up. You
can use whatever toppings you like, I did banana, banana & choc chip, plain choc
chip and raspberry & honey! no honey under 1! They are fluffy and so delicious
your little one is bound to love them. 

🥞 Ingredients:

- 1 cup (120g) plain
flour
- 1 cup (230ml) milk
- 1 egg
**1 tsp vanilla extract, optional**

Toppings of choice! Banana, choc chips, raspberries, blueberries etc

Method:

- Preheat oven to 180C/355F degrees.
- Put the egg, milk, flour and
vanilla in a jug and whisk. ** only a#whisk until combined dont over whisk or
your pancakes will be tough**
- Pour/ spoon into muffin tray.
- Top with your
toppings.
- Bake at 180 degrees (355F) for 15 minutes or until golden.
- Remove
from the tin & serve when slightly cooled!
