2022 GLOBAL COLOR REPORT

BASF’s designers found in the company’s Color Report for Automotive OEM
Coatings, the automotive color rainbow is expanding to allow colors like yellow,
orange, green, and violet to take market share. In North America, more chromatic
colors like violet show up.

BASF RESEARCHERS RECEIVE R&D AWARD

The Research and Development Council of New Jersey has awarded a team of BASF
inventors with the prestigious 2021 Thomas Alva Edison Patent Award for
outstanding environmental contributions.  The award honors an innovative Diesel
Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), which enables automotive OEMs to meet tighter emission
regulations and clean the air we breathe.

BASF and Entegris have signed an agreement on the sale of the Precision

quantum mechanics, this year’s collection is called SUPERPOSITION, which is a

BASF AND RWE PLAN TO COOPERATE ON TECHNOLOGIES FOR CLIMATE PROTECTION

BASF and Germany-based energy company RWE jointly develeped a project idea that
shows how industrial production can become sustainable and future-proof. The
project envisions an additional offshore wind farm with a capacity of 2
gigawatts (GW) to provide the Ludwigshafen chemical site with green electricity.
