Welcome to Lion's Heart Family Martial Arts



Lion's Heart Family Martial Arts is an inclusive dojo dedicated to teaching
students of all ages while maintaining a fun, educational, and family-friendly
environment.

 

Students will learn skills like basic blocks, strikes, and kicks, as well as
self-defense. Not only will students learn physical skills but they will be
taught respect, self-control, and confidence amoung many other social and
self-bettering skills.

 

Lion's Heart Family Martial Arts offers a variety of programs suited for
students of all ages. We promise to deliver a unique style of training and
teaching.

 

Not only can students further themselves in belt rank but they will also have
the chance to gain valuable skills through some of our other programs that
become open as they progress through the martial arts. Please see our "PROGRAMS"
page for more details.



Lion's Heart Family Martial Arts believes in a transparent and clear process to
earn each belt.

This is an incredible dojo! Mersina, the owner and head Sensei, is a very
special person. My child absolutely thrives under her instruction and
mentorship. All her staff have been wonderful too.

 

There is a mix of 'fun' here while still focusing on the discipline required for
martial arts.

 

We have loved that there was not commitment to sign up 2x/week and that there
was different membership options. The icing on the cake is that this dojo has
experience with neurodiverse individuals and is welcoming to all!

To begin with I would say everyone from the front desk to the actual Sensei and
assistant Sensei are all very kind and polite to speak to.

To add to that, they are never rushing a kid like other martial arts schools.
Every kid has their own speed of learning and improving and this school is able
to amazingly do it for every kid differently and still makes sure every kid
improves in every class. Impresses me every time.

Having studied martial arts for almost a decade I am particular about where I
send my children. I have witnessed Mersina's unique style literally change
students lives. She provides a firm and gentle approach with her wit and humor.
Students naturally gravitate towards her and she unreservedly inspires a passion
for martial arts. Thank you Mersina.
