She lost everything, was swindled out of thousands but persevered with her
thirty year ambition to run a “little tea room” from the ex-railway cottage she
called home.





 JUNCTION 21 ?

The tea room adjoins the former gatekeeper’s cottage at Junction 21 on the rail
network,where the gatekeeper would open  and close the gates by hand to allow
trains or road vehicles to pass through. Junction 21 was also the notorious
‘Themelthorpe Curve’, still discussed by railway enthusiasts today as being the
sharpest bend ever on the UK rail network. Read more here

Junction 21 is open all year. Whatever the weather there’s plenty of room
inside, where the stylish interior looks out over panoramic views of the Norfolk
countryside.  

Service with a smile, great coffee, tea in teapots, delicious light lunches and
a sumptuous array of home baked cakes and savouries.
