Innovative Ground Hay Bag
Mimic natural grazing inside your stall and help discourage ulcers with a more
natural slow feed hay bag that sits on the ground. This hay bag has 1.5" webbing
slow feed holes and a hidden zipper top with hook and loop flap for safe
closure. Made of 600D double PVC vinyl material for double strength durability.

Key Benefits
Safe & Healthy
A hay bag designed for use on the ground has no hardware your horse can get to
while in use. Mimics natural grazing functions by allowing the horse to eat
slowly off the ground while the hay stays protected from sawdust, urine, and
manure. Studies have shown that allowing horses to eat with their heads down in
a more natural position: is healthier and may help prevent ulcers from forming.
Slow Feed 1.5 Holes
Small webbing holes on the front side of the hay bag allow a slow, more natural
way of eating to help keep horses eating longer. Small size holes are safe for
use for ground feeding. We do not recommend horses with shoes use this type of
ground feeder.
Durable Double PVC
This hay bag is made of 600D double PVC vinyl material that is water/urine
resistant and is 50% stronger than standard 600D polyester.
Easy Close Top
The durable zipper top closure with a hook and loop closure flap keeps the
zipper hidden during use.
Large Capacity
Able to fit 3-4 flakes of hay to last your horse hours.
Grommets for Drainage
The six grommets on the bag's backside allow water to quickly drain away when
it's washed or left out in the snow or rain.

I bought a pair and used them for about a couple of weeks last summer. The
zippers tended to get plugged up making the bags hard to work with. By this
time, part of the webbing had torn free in a corner of one bag and a zipper pull
had come off. I brought them out again this summer and on one bag, the seam
ripped on first use. Disappointing that they are not durable, because they are
an excellent idea and look good when new.

BROKE WITHIN 15 USES IN A STALL

The design is good, it's just not durable. I bought two so I could rotate the
use, the zippers broke first within a week and one bag had an entire blow out of
the bottom after about 15 uses. This was in a stall with one horse, it's not
like multiple horses were shredding them. Very disappointing.

Hi, like the sturdy plastic fabric of this bag better than the canvas backing of
the other hay pillows I've bought in the past. I wish the openings were smaller
for my easy keepers. The zipper in this bag does not look terribly durable, but
the large Velcro closure flap on top of the zipper is great. I will probably use
this bag without zipping it; the Velcro closure is enough. The bag is easy to
load, and will hold 2 to 3 flakes from a 2- string bale of hay.

The quality of the material of the bag itself seemed pretty good. Grommets for
drainage, waterproof, tough webbing, etc. Unfortunately, the seam near the
zipper starter splitting after a week in use and the zipper pull broke
completely off the bag after only a week and a half. Schneiders is sending a
replacement so I'm happy with their customer service.

It is pretty easy to fill which I like. I have not used it long enough to know
how it will hold up which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. It is used outside
for a single horse and so far, it is holding up well and seems very durable. I
am keeping an eye on my horses' lips and teeth since the webbing in this hay bag
is wider than the net style. So far it is not causing any problems that I can
see, and it does slow down his eating which is what I needed.

Beyond slowing my pony's ingestion of his hay the bag actually provides him with
entertainment! He moves the bag where he wants it! I love the natural grazing
position it offers most of all. It seems to be durable, easy to fill etc. I will
be purchasing at least one more for traveling to shows. Full disclosure, my pony
is barefoot and we take the bag out at night-check.

I bought two of these because we have added stalls in our arena and they won't
be heated in the winter. I wanted to something easy that would slow them
down…hay would last longer at night. Typical hay bags have too large an opening,
even if advertised an inch, they stretch and never really slowed my horses down.
These have worked great so far…yes, they have gotten pooped on, but I shake them
off and fill them back up. They are also easy to fill…which is a bonus. I gave
my mares the bag one afternoon so I'd know how long it took them to empty, and
they were still working on them 4 hours later.

Much more sturdy than my long fabric bags. The holes are a good size and it
seems really durable. My mini immediately tried to demolish it with no success.
Only thing I don't like is there aren't any holes for rain to drain out so you
can't leave them out in the rain too long
