I had downloaded the iFit app to my iPad to use while on my Horizon treadmill
but couldn’t get the app to play without constant stopping and buffering.
Ordered the Amazon Fire Stick to download what I thought was the same app to use
with a TV in front of the treadmill - it is almost the same app, but it’s not,
it’s the *iFit TV* app, apparently not the same iFit app that’s on my iPad. It’s
the cheap, bare bones version of the regular iFit app. The workouts I’d saved as
favorites on iFit do not carry over to the TV app; I had to save everything all
over again. Workouts I can see on the iPad app don’t exist on the iFit TV app.
There’s no search function on the TV app. Can’t find series of workouts. The
metrics bar (incline, etc.) that originally did appear at the top of my TV
screen has now mysteriously disappeared as of today - nothing will bring it
back. Now there is just a useless countdown clock in the bottom left corner.
Sometimes a workout won’t be available due to an iFit server issue (had that
problem yesterday). Sometimes none of the workouts I’ve saved on the TV app
appear at all. I get a blank “favorites” screen. And so on.

I had originally purchased the app through Apple’s App store on a monthly basis,
had no trouble installing and using it on the Fire Stick, but at the end of the
month, iFit TV on the fire stick wouldn’t recognize my monthly subscription-
kept saying it was expired— so I had to cancel it through Apple, re-purchase it
through Amazon’s app store. Finally got the iFit TV app to “see” my
subscription/account again. Hoping I do not have to repeat that experience each
month. I’m not a tech person, but there is something about the app/one account
not working and communicating across different platforms. It sort of does, then
it sort of doesn’t.

One star for at least being able to play the app workouts without any
interruption on my TV, and I really like the workouts - when I can actually get
one to play. But it’s been so incredibly frustrating to get on the treadmill and
not be certain what problem will be that day with the iFit TV app. Don’t waste
your time and money on this.

The iFit app will connect you with encouraging trainers and lead you through
engaging workouts. This is well worth the money and the sweat-equity that the
app requires. Yes, it’s true. If you want to be in better health, you really do
need to put in the work. But this app can help you to get there.

The iFit trainers make it easy to work up to my physical abilities and to track
improvement. The workouts are not created for an obese and physically disabled
middle-aged man. But, that’s where I started. With the help of my physician and
this app, I am seeing results I could not have imagined.

The results really surprised me. Because of a significant back injury (and
several surgeries), for fifteen years I was unable to walk without a cane. My
physician suggested that I try a recumbent bicycle.

In nine months I exercised regularly (often, but not always, with this app). In
that time, I lost about 60 pounds. Aside from looking and feeling better, I can
even walk about a mile without a cane. This is my beginning and there’s more
work to be done. The iFit app will be an important part of my ongoing fitness
activities.

If you want results, talk to your physician, invest in the equipment, use this
app, and track your results. You may be amazed by your improvement.

I was so thrilled when I saw this on our Fire TV apps. I got a treadmill for a
Christmas present a couple years ago that had a free trial for iFit. I liked it
so much I continued to get it. But I was dismayed that there was no app for the
TV, only your iPad or phone. It’s harder to pretend your getting fit in another
country when your screen is so small. So when it was available I downloaded it.
To my disappointment I found that the TV app doesn’t sync to your equipment. You
have to do everything manually. Umm...what’s the point of the app then? I may as
well watch YouTube. Really hoping they will upgrade and fix this huge issue.
Yes, I still use it but I really wish it was synced to my treadmill so I could
just concentrate on the workout instead of wondering how much incline to do for
a hill that I see. Just saying.

I've used this for a few workouts now and I really enjoy it! I think that a few
versions down the line will make this a really excellent tool, but this is
awesome for strength and yoga workouts since my ifit enabled treadmill screen is
very difficult to see during these types of programs and now I have a better way
to follow along. Maybe it's there and I missed how to do it, but it would be
great if we could have a way that multiple users can log in.

We are iFit users for a couple of years and appreciate that iFIT is now
available as a TV app. It is great to use with our Water rower rowing machine
and for workouts that don't use a machine. We have an iFIT-integrated bicycle,
but the TV app doesn't seem to integrate with it. Have noticed that favorites
saved in the TV app don't always reload, but that may be a function of internet
speed rather than being a problem with the app. My only real ask is that
activities done using the TV app be connected universally with my iFIT account
such that activity is stored and viewable across all iFIT enabled devices,
including the web. Right now, sessions done on the bike aren't integrated.

I love iFit on my bike and treadmill. This is great that I can now use it in new
ways with other workouts for when I don't feel like getting on a piece of
equipment. The same workouts in the app are accessible on my bike but there's
not a lot of room where the bike sits but plenty of room in the TV room for
yoga, strength training, HIT, and other floor workouts. I added this to my Fire
TV and it is another great tool by iFit in the challenge to stay fit and
healthy. Also, I haven't used it yet but since my treadmill is older it only has
iFit programs and no video. I can't wait to try it on the TV in conjunction with
the treadmill. I'm not a huge fan of exercise until I get it done. Anything to
help stay motivated is great!
