      The concept of pluralism celebrates that we are all sacred beings, diverse
      in culture, experience, and theology. This morning we’ll reflect on how
      ageism, with its pervasive stereotypes of each generation, hinders the
      potential found in our congregations.
      
      Rev. Patty Hanneman has served Unitarian Universalism as both a campus
      minister at Duke University and as a parish minister for the UU
      Congregation of Hillsborough. Her ministry currently includes offering
      spiritual direction, rites of passage and congregational consulting. She
      lives in Durham with her partner Karen Hill.
