As of 1st November 2013, the previously Government
owned Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company
PHED became a privately held company owned
and managed by 4 Power Consortium LTD.
Through a program of investment and innovation, PHED is set to be far
more efficient at its core functions. It will work hard to deliver power more
effectively for the benefit of
our customers and the economy.

The company’s core functions will remain unchanged;

 * Distribution of electricity
 * Maintenance of overhead and underground lines, electricity poles,
