embarrassing, but I managed to figure out what is going on. My WHM has ns1
listed first in the zone file, but this report shows ns2 listed first. I'm not
sure if this means anything, but the in the DNS records reported by Domain
Dossier, it shows the correct nameservers, but they're in a different order.
However, Google's DNS servers are seeing one thing, and the DNS servers that
Domain Dossier uses are seeing another. If this is the case, then the serial
numbers do match. The serial number in my WHM is 2012022403 while the serial
number reported by Domain Dossier is 2012022402.Įdit: Actually, it probably
makes more sense that WHM isn't showing the serial number that is saved, but the
saved serial number + 1 so the next time you make changes you won't have to
increase the number yourself. It showed a record pointing my domain to my public
IP address.Īfter further examination of the Domain Dossier output, it shows a
zone file serial number different from the one appearing in my WHM. I'm not sure
what the difference is, but I used the tool located here: /co/DomainDossier.aspx
and it reported different DNS records. Also, access logs show visitors are

starting at age 21 with a guitar. Loit is a poet, musician, graphic designer,
performance artist, Goema lexicologist, and now also radio presenter – he has
just started a weekly slot on Radio Sonder Grense, RSG, on Friday mornings 0745
– 0800.

Goema is also derived from the Indonesian “Gumum” meaning murmur, indicative of
the drumbeat of dissent among the Cape’s West Indies slave ancestors. The drum,
says Loit, is not a drum without the stretched hide.

Goema, the geographically distinct, historically unique, rhythmically inflected,
culturally outerclass, irreverent, scatological and deeply spiritual indigenous
masala.īrandishing a Khoekhoegowab language dictionary, Loit points to the
Khoesan etymology of Goema: “Goma”, meaning the hide of an ox. Goema is what
connects Loit and Churchil. The show comes on the tails of Churchil’s debut
album release, Kroeskop vol Geraas, and their studio collaboration on the

of walking I do each morning and 30 minutes of yoga and weights … plus drumming
in the evening. I got the tip to stop my jaw dropping from the book The Oxygen
Advantage by Patrick McKeown (check his stuff here) whose work is all about
improving performance and quality of life by optimising our oxygen and carbon
dioxide levels. Ancient tribes nose breathe - only modern humans and
over-heating dogs are mouth-breathers. Part of the process is taping up my mouth
at night in so doing, I train my brain to breathe through my nose.

If the medium works for you and it suits the pictures you’re taking and your
style, don’t worry about conforming to convention. Just remember there is no
right or wrong and choosing to use monochrome is a creative decision. All that
said, I have not totally bucked convention and have suggested six subjects that
work exceptionally well in monochrome, and six that are perhaps less successful,
so check out the relevant panels in this feature. With mono, there are plenty of
creative avenues to explore and with most of us capturing digitally, shoot raw
and the world is your oyster because you can take any route you want. A mono
conversion and a little work on the computer resulted in a character-packed
portrait Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, 500mm, 1/160sec at f/4, The dull morning light
meant the original image looked dull. Just choose the medium as you would pick a
particular setting on the zoom lens, and then work on developing a style that
suits your pictorial approach. As a hobbyist if you shoot pictures for your own
pleasure, then so long as you are happy with the end result the colour or mono
debate is a non-issue. Essentially, you should ask yourself what your pictures
are for and what do you want to say in your images.įor example, if you are
entering a nature photo contest, the odds are that mono shots will likely not
succeed but that doesn’t mean the pictures are failures. On the contrary, it can
work exceptionally well and if you want evidence of that check out the
remarkable output of Nick Brandt. It is a subject where realism is expected but
that is not to say it can’t work in black & white. Some subjects are also
inexorably linked to colour photography. Shoot anyway and go moody monochrome!
Nikon D3s, 24-70mm, 1/30sec at f/5.6, ISO 800 Mono excels in dull light when you
might not even bother taking the camera out. If you enjoy exploiting colour
contrast and colour harmony, for example, then by definition using the full
spectrum of visible light is clearly the best medium. There is no doubt that
there are subjects and scenes that are ‘better’ in colour or perhaps only work
in that medium. It’s just different but it can evoke a mood or an emotion that
colour can’t. It can add an extra dimension to your creative output almost
regardless of subject matter.

No, what I am saying is that black & white shouldn’t be pigeon-holed in this way
and it is a much more versatile medium than many photographers give it credit
for. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying you should turn every image in your
archive into shades of grey and that these will be more successful than
full-colour shots. My view is that black & white can be applied very
successfully to almost any genre. What subjects work best in black and white?
Whether you’re fired up by the work of old masters or more contemporary
visionaries, there’s a lot of wonderful imagery out there. If you are already a
keen mono shooter, you will have your favourite workers however, if you’re
finding your way in the medium and need inspiration, now’s the time to get on
the internet or to a bookshop. Google the names if they are unfamiliar to you.
Their work continues to inspire me and no doubt many others.

I grew up loving and being inspired by the work of many legends of photography
including Ansel Adams, Bill Brandt, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Duane Michals, Arnold
Newman, Irving Penn and Sebastião Salgado, to name my magnificent seven. Not
only that, but the pictures I saw in magazines and books that fired my
imagination were in black & white. Going monochrome was the obvious route
because as a schoolkid, it was the only affordable one. When I embarked on my
photography journey, there was only film with the choice of colour print, colour
slide or black & white. In very contrasty light an exposure bracket of several
frames can be merged in software to produce a fully toned image.

This takes a lot of time and energy and they often get hit by cars when the
driver does not see the sloth in the road. Bridging the gap – Without a natural
or artificial canopy bridge, the only way for a sloth to cross a road is by
crawling on the ground.We also teach responsible pet ownership skills to local
communities. A sloth on the ground has no defence against a dog! We spay and
neuter stray dogs in Costa Rica with the aim of reducing the overall number of
uncontrolled dogs roaming freely that might attack sloths. Rapid development of
the rainforest means that the connectivity between neighbouring trees is being
lost and the sloths are forced to travel around on the ground. Saving sloths by
sterilising dogs – Domestic and stray dog attacks are now the second leading
cause of death for sloths in Costa Rica.We fund the raw materials needed to
insulate power lines in Costa Rica and we work with the electricity company to
install the insulations. The survival rate following an electrocution is only
about 25%. There are more than 3000 wildlife electrocutions every single year in
Costa Rica and over half of the electrocuted animals are sloths.

Insulating power lines – Sloths climb on the electricity lines to travel between
trees in urban areas, and the cables are very poorly insulated.The Sloth
Conservation Foundation is a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation in
the UK (Registered Charity Number 1170992). These range from increasing habitat
connectivity in urban areas to educating children in local communities and
conducting high quality scientific research into many different aspects of sloth
biology and ecology. SloCo has developed a range of strategies and programs
which aim to achieve this objective in Costa Rica. Saving these incredible
animals from extinction therefore requires innovative and long-term conservation
solutions that will target both the human and sloth populations, with the goal
of developing sustainable ways in which humans and sloths can coexist. The
sloths simply cannot adapt to this rapidly changing environment. Roads, farms,
towns and cities now dominate the landscape, cutting the once continuous forest
into smaller and more isolated segments. However, the rainforest habitat that
the sloths depend on is becoming more and more disturbed. They are perfectly
adapted for life high up in the canopy of tropical rainforests where they have
little need to ever descend to the ground. Sloths are the ultimate creatures of
habit. SloCo was founded with the determination to stimulate progressive change
and achieve lasting solutions through research and conservation initiatives.

Layering stepping stones on top of a neutral pea stone creates a
multi-dimensional look we adore.

For the modern farmhouse style home above, our designers wanted the walkway to
elevate the home’s charm. One of our favorite ideas for walkways is to use
stepping stones. This allows our homeowner clients to see the colors in person
so they can choose options that coordinate best with their exterior design. With
designs like this, we recommend sourcing stone and pavers locally. The walkway
stepping stones include multiple shades of gray, complementing the color of the
siding and drawing in contrast to the face of the home. Our designers wanted to
spice up the exterior with a fresh aesthetic. Note for v1.In the

Step 12: Now place keyframe head forward in keyframe timeline section at some
distance and add another key at this and decrease the speed of video footage by
changing the value of the Speed option of Twixtor from the layer section of this
software.

For checking the frame rate of our video footage, go on that folder of personal
computer where you have saved it and make right-click with the mouse button on
