WE GRANT FUNDS TO HIGH-IMPACT PROGRAMS THAT SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY’S HEALTH AND
WELLNESS

We’re reimagining the future of health care in our community. With an expanded
mission to invest in programs throughout Ashland, Talent, and Phoenix, we are
extending our reach and impact. At the same time, Ashland Community Hospital
Foundation is returning to its roots — supporting local hospital and community
partners to improve access to quality health care for all of our neighbors.


COMMUNITY HEALTH & WELLNESS

We award grants for community and hospital-based projects that create or expand
access to services that promote health and wellness for all.

EVANS NURSING SCHOLARSHIP

Since its creation in 2002, over 300 scholarships have been awarded to more than
250 nursing students.

The foundation has supported Ashland’s hospital since 1977 with grants for new
and innovative projects, programs, and educational opportunities.

PATRONS CAMPAIGN

Right now, our community is facing an urgent and enduring need for caregivers.

The foundation has a long history of providing scholarships in the Rogue Valley,
and with your help we’re expanding our support to address the current workforce
shortage.

level medical careers, and help fill open health care positions in our area.

SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY


THE MANZANITA PROJECT

As part of our Help Our Kids Thrive campaign, we presented a grant to the
Phoenix-Talent School District to support a manzanita sculpture project.

Created to help children overcome the disruption in learning and the trauma of
loss, the sculptures commemorate the resiliency of the community after the
Almeda Fire.

Manzanitas were chosen as a symbol of resilience, because in order for new
manzanita plants to grow, they need fire to awaken dormant seeds in the soil.
