Feed Medical Lake is a non-profit organization founded June 2011 by Joanna
Williams. In order to feed all hungry people regardless of faith, ethnicity,
creed, age or income. Also get a yummy hot cooked meal and receive a bag of
groceries completely FREE OF CHARGE to all!! Meals are served cafeteria style
and everyone has an opportunity to participate in games, door prizes, and
special events.

SAD NEWS TO REPORT FROM FEED MEDICAL LAKE!

Director Aaron and Volunteers of Feed Medical Lake is with most deep regret we
have to inform you that the church council of St. John Luthern Church, mandated
the closure of the Feed Medical Lake food program until Autumn at which time the
council hopes to reopen a food program but under a different name & setup. Then
on June 10, 2024 at noon (the 2nd Monday of June), Feed Medical Lake will
celebrate the completion of 13 years of serving Medical Lake, Fairchild Air
Force Base, Airway Heights, Cheney, and other nearby communities with a free
meal and free groceries after which Feed Medical Lake will close permanently.
The meal and celebration will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church 223 S.
Hallett St., Medical Lake. Everyone is invited to attend these meals and
celebrations. All are welcome, and please share this information with your

GREAT HELP FROM THE INNOVIA FOUNDATION!

This a huge shout out to the awesome folks at Innovia Foundation for helping
Feed Medical Lake to aquire grant money from them. This money went back to the
community by helping the people of Medical Lake who lost so much. We provided
togo meals in better containers then we normally use to prevent spills or worse.
This has also been helping pass out school supplies to those in need. A huge
THANK YOU to the Innovia Foundation for all help and what they do for the
communities around the area.

FEED MEDICAL LAKE RECEIVED 16,744 POUNDS OF FOOD!

In 2023 Feed Spokane rescued over 300,000 pounds of quality food which is an
estimated 330,000 meals. This rescued food is distributed to 15 active Coalition
members who in turn help feed an estimated 20,000 families per week. We thank
you for partnering with us as we strive to eliminate Spokane’s and surrounding
communities food insecurity.
Feed Medical Lake received 16,744 pounds of nutritious sustainable food in 2023.
In turn we distributed this food out to our local community to help people in
need. Feed Medical Lake wants to give a HUGE THANK YOU for all of their hard
work to help us and helping the community!!
Together we will continue to follow our mission, let’s eliminate hunger! Feed
Spokane’s Mission is “Safely rescuing quality food to Feed Spokane’s hungry by
nurturing sustainable community networks & charitable partnerships while
