ALLAN JOHNSTON





A passion for Africa and amazing adventure travel culminated in 30 years of
experience in Corporate Adventure Travel and Experiential wow factor Incentives.
Allan Johnston, Founder, not only pioneered a multitude of experiential
team-based activity programmes but has also amassed an ever-growing knowledge of
the deserts, streams, rivers, seas and oceans, mountains, and swamps in
Tanzania, Nepal, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, and South
Africa. Allan’s infectious enthusiasm is palpable when designing an experiential
programme for a client and even more so when the programme is carried through to
fruition.

A profound respect for nature has translated into an extraordinary journey
throughout Southern Africa and has resulted in a multitude of amazing
experiences. Charismatic, energetic, and outgoing, Allan has climbed
Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in Africa, twice, climbed to
Everest Base Camp in Nepal, and paddled sections of the Zambezi extensively. He
holds a Microlight License and Fixed Wing Pilots License, is an advanced scuba
diver, a mountain guide, river guide, and is experienced in Close Protection.

Allan’s incredible knowledge of spaces, places, and locations, and his ability
to think out-of-the-box has resulted in many off-the-beaten-track experiences
for large and small groups.

LYSTA STANDER





A passion for food, places, and people has driven Lysta to achieve the
oftentimes seemingly impossible. With 32 years of marketing and sales experience
of which 23 years have been in the tourism industry, Lysta has channeled her
energy and passion into conquering various exciting challenges both in business
and adventure. A graduate in Business Psychology, Lysta demonstrates a unique
ability to conceptualise as well as execute the extraordinary. Driven, outgoing,
and able to achieve far more than seemingly possible, Lysta has been responsible
for staging opening ceremonies for World Class events in amphitheaters,
stadiums, and the Sun City Super Bowl, to organizing and hosting the largest
ever open-air dinner for 1000 people in Big Five country.

Lysta’s passion for people has driven her participation in many community
projects and she is highly skilled in successfully coordinating and project
managing teams and operations and is renowned for her attention to detail and
appreciation of the finer intricacies which ultimately guarantees a memorable
experience. Every event becomes a theater of the mind encompassing all the
senses, and dining and catering take on a flair of brilliance where even the
simplest of menus become gastronomic delights. Decor, colour, texture, and style
create visual spaces in even the remotest areas that are quite simply
breathtaking.
