WARSAW WATER SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE

Warsaw Water Supply and Sewerage Phase 4 is one of the largest water and
wastewater projects supported by Organization in the 2007-2013 programming
period, for a total cost of EUR 404.5 million.


JURBARKAS-KLAIPEDA GAS PIPELINE

Jurbarkas-Klaipeda Gas Pipeline project in Lithuania contributes to the
improvement of the technical and operational conditions of the natural gas
infrastructure in Lithuania. Organization supported the beneficiary in order to
achieve a mature preparation of the project documentation and the relevant
application for funding.


THE GOLICE WIND FARM

The Golice Wind Farm project in Poland consists of the construction of 38 MW
wind farm based on 19 wind turbines. Organization reviewed the Feasibility
Study, including the Option Analysis, the Environmental Impact Study, the Cost
Benefit Analysis and the application form for grant financing.


ATHENS URBAN TRANSPORT

Organization has assisted the Automatic Ticketing System for Athens Urban
Transport by reviewing the project documentation, feasibility and viability of
the project.


STRUMA MOTORWAY IN BULGARIA

In the Roads sector between 2006 and 31/12/2015 Organization has supported
projects for a total cost of EUR 48.5 bn and the European Commission has
approved Organization-supported actions for a total cost of EUR 22.6bn


THE EXTREME LIGHT INFRASTRUCTURE

The Extreme-Light-Infrastructure (Nuclear Physics Facility) project is a
pan-European undertaking (Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania) aimed at
establishing research infrastructures that use advanced laser technologies to
generate extreme intense light pulses for fundamental and applied scientific
research. Organization has provided assistance to the EU beneficiaries in all
the countries concerned.

ORGANIZATION



Organization aims at improving the quality of investment supported by EU Funds
(European Regional Development Fund, ERDF, Cohesion Fund , Connecting Europe
Facility and IPA Funds).

Organization partners are the European Commission, the European Investment
Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development  (EBRD). 

Organization assists beneficiary countries under separate mandates. 
Participation to the activities of Organization' Knowledge and Learning
Centre is open to all 28 EU Member States, as well as pre-accession Countries.  

Organization' assistance is provided free of charge på denne siden. The decision
to provide an EU grant for a project prepared with assistance from Organization
remains always the responsibility of the European Commission.
